“I had a nail in one of my tires and was slowly leaking. Walked in to the shop and was attended immediately. After accessment, the tire was not repairable because it was close to the sidewall. My tires are all around 7/32 thread depth. They offered a used tire that was very similar in thread depth for a reasonable price, including balancing and installation. Was in and out in 1 hour. Pretty good for a walk in. While waiting, many people also dropped by and asked for help either for alignment or replacing a tire. Highly recommended. I prefer local shops to chains and this is why.”
“I called around to a few places last week to compare prices and confirm if the whistling sound I was experiencing was likely a brake issue. I chose Top Auto because the reviews were incredible, prices fair and John was so helpful over the phone. John and the entire team were fantastic when I arrived, they quickly diagnosed the problem and provided me with options. They were able to replace my two front brake pads and rotors, and even helped me as a courtesy with a strange clunking noise I was experiencing. The engine splash shield was partially hanging down due to missing screws and they kindly replaced them for me. I am beyond relieved to report that my car is running as smoothly as ever - no more strange noises! I will happily return with any further issues and highly recommend them. Thanks again!”

“Brakes were making a really loud grinding noise when I was driving. I work full time and have a 1.5 year old daughter I drive to daycare every day. Needless to say, I was worried about having to get my car into the shop and wait several hours, days, weeks to get this service done. Corey solved my problem within two hours and he came to my house! “The name may have changed to Mavis Tires & Brakes (It used to be NTB, then NTW.) but the service remains great. I started coming here in the 90s, when I moved to Woburn, and have had all six of my cars serviced here over the years. Today was brake rotors and pads all around. I asked a lot of questions and they showed me all, both the old and the newly installed hardware. Friendly and professional service, as always.”
“Took my Corvette to Herb Chambers 3 times for the engine misfiring..After the 3rd visit they told me it was the transmission and to take it to a transmission mechanic in Wakefield. Within 1 hr the transmission place told me it was fine. Took it to essex County auto repair. They did a tune up in one day. Car runs like new and they did it at a excellent price. The dealership should be embarrassed,they couldn't fix the car. They had it for 3 weeks.. can't say enough about essex, thank u for fixing my car.”

“Moving to Lynn meant we needed to find an auto repair shop we could trust. We shopped around and finally found Larson's. This is a woman owned and run business that is thorough, organized and affordable. Their goal is to make sure you receive the service you need to keep your car in top notch condition.
I brought my Honda here last week. After they did their review of the car, they recommended a few items that needed to be done. I agreed to have them do the work which included some outsourcing of part of the exhaust system.
The repairs were done on time and for the price quoted.
Driving home I got a warning light, so I called and they said bring it back tomorrow. I did and they determined two items needed to be fixed which may have been related to the repairs or maybe not.
Diane, the owner said that they were covering the cost to repair as it was possibly related to the other work done! I was so happy she did this and I was so astounded I don't think I thanked her enough. If you need your car serviced do not hesitate to use Larsons's. They have me as a customer for life after the way they treated me.”

They really know how to service Volkswagens, too. I have a 2015 Volkswagen Golf TDI diesel, which can be a quirky car to own. They always know exactly what to do and make the repairs so quickly! “I am so glad I found this place. I don’t like going to the large dealerships to get maintenance on my car so I called Hometown auto and had a great experience. They were very respectful. The job was done quickly and it was nowhere near the price I had been paying at other places. In addition I had, experienced driving through floodwater about two months ago and called them to find out if my car should be seen for possible damage. They were again so helpful, understanding and offered for me to come by the next day so they could check my car out. I highly recommend Hometown Auto! I will be back.”
“Got my car checked out for a rattling sound that’s been bothering me for a while. They were polite and quick! ? ? ?
It only took 1.5 hours or so for them to diagnose it and they didn’t add any other random charges as well to it that people often do. Prices were fair!! ? If you’re in a pinch go do these guys. I don’t think I’d trust most other places.
The waiting area was big, outlets on the wall if you want to work and plenty of seats/couch space.
Lastly, I was so glad they talked to me in a good tone, explained things well, and didn’t treat me like I was an idiot like a lot of car mechanic places do. (Talking to you Honda Fresh Pond!?)”
“I've parked at this location several times when traveling in and out of Logan airport. The arrangement that they have with the local taxi company, Patriot, works perfectly. Each and every time the drivers between Broadway motor and the airport have been early to pick up! The pricing is cheaper than any other short or long-term parking in the area in the flat rate to the airport with the taxi company makes it the best deal around. They will come in pick you up and drop you off at any hour of the day or night And you do not have to go to Logan's shared parking lot. The taxi is able to pick you up right at the door of your terminal. I would give Broadway motor service five stars anytime and will certainly use them again and again.”
“Excellent customer service. Pulled in with our motorhome thinking the worse. Just a staple in the tire which they were able to pull out and the stem needed replacing causing the tire to get low. Had us back on the road quickly!! Can’t thank them enough”
