My daughter and I partnered with Shelia on a major modern renovation of my 1950's childhood home. Shelia actively participated in all phases of the project including architectural review, layout planning, material/fixture selection and kitchen/baths planning. I appreciated her input and honesty on all the design and selection decisions and also admired her professionalism working with my GC and the vendors/subcontractors. Without a doubt, engaging Sheila and M&H Interiors was the best decision I made during my townhouse renovations. Sheila transformed the layout of my living and dining rooms! From curtains to shades to furniture to wallpaper, Sheila always provided options for me to choose from within my budget. The best part, she had the skilled trades people to bring all the ideas to reality! She coordinated all the trades people, was onsite to supervise the work, and ensured the outcomes were exactly the vision she had for the rooms. Doing this renovation during the pandemic did present some challenges with the availability of the furniture. The delivery and install of the final pieces did take longer than anyone expected. If you are doing a home reno, you MUST hire Sheila. Sheila helped us design our entire home during our renovation. She helped with flooring, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, design of spaces, kitchen design, cabinets, hardware, tile, paint color, window treatments, wallpaper, the list goes on. When renovating your home there are so many details/decisions to make and Sheila helped us make our dreams a reality by picking out everything that went into our home, right along side us, as a team. I initially hired M&H interiors to pick out paint colors for my first floor. Sheila nailed it. I absolutely love how the colors compliment each other. The contractor could not believe what a difference the colors made in pulling everything together. I absolutely love how it all looks.I then hired Sheila to upgrade my powder room. Sheila was easy to work with and had a good sense for what I liked. I wanted a "WOW" factor, to be pushed out of my comfort zone. She found the perfect grasscloth wallpaper that I just love, sconces that look amazing and a "WOW" mirror to top it all off. Upon installing my sconces my electrician literally said "WOW, these are high end" and "what a mirror," mission accomplished!I can't wait to see what she finds to elevate my kitchen next. Thank you Sheila for helping me to accomplish my goals, I look forward to working with you again soon.

We chose M&H to help us with our "mini-renno". The brief was to update our existing kitchen to expand workspace and storage and switch from gas to electric appliances, and like anyone we had specific likes and dislikes. Sheila worked hard to find the materials we wanted, directed us to showrooms and suppliers we would not have found otherwise, gave us her opinion when asked, or when we were stuck on a decision, and generally was a dream to work with. The result is a kitchen that meets our highest expectations - it's a joy to cook and entertain in. I would work with M&H again.

We loved working with M&H Interiors on our kitchen remodel. Sheila had great ideas on how to make better use the space we had available. The function and flow of our new kitchen is a vast improvement over what we had. Sheila really understood the look we were going for and helped us achieve that look by guiding us through the process of picking out backsplash, lighting and other decor. I found M&H Interiors on Houzz.com and from the moment I reached out I knew Sheila was going to be the perfect person to help me design the family room of a home we had just moved in. The room itself has very unique elements that we did not want to change, but more so work with to make it elegant, comfortable and functional as a family of 5 with three young boys.I knew the room/project was going to be challenging and Sheila really worked with my husband and me to understand our style and providing options that brought out our style it the most elegant way that I didn't know was possible. From wall color to furniture, artwork and accessories, Sheila transformed our room bringing it to life in a way I couldn't even visualize at the beginning and worked with us in our budget. Sheila was excellent to work with. I had no idea where to start with our two projects: refreshing the kitchen and making over the powder room. She met with us to determine our tastes, then provided us with multiple choices within our preferences. She made sure that all the various parts worked together. While I sometimes initially doubted her suggestions, her vision turned out to be beyond expectations. She also allowed us a lot of leeway and was fine when we went off on our own trajectory.She was prompt in returning messages, and kept us up to date on progress. Her construction crew was the best. I recommend her highly.

I tore down my grandparent's home in Wakefield and re-built a new one - a huge project! Sheila was the designer for the project and we worked very closely together for just about 6 months. With a brand new house comes A LOT of decisions, and Sheila did an unbelievable job at helping me make so many decisions. In the beginning, my brain was completely overwhelmed with ideas about everything big and small in the house. Sheila did everything with me in "baby steps", making sure that I was only focusing on a few decisions at a time. I had ideas for what I wanted for some parts of the house and absolutely no idea what I wanted for other parts. Sheila brought my ideas to life and shared tons of hers with me!! (She gets all the credit for my stunning mudroom.) We were in contact almost weekly, either in person, by phone, or by email. Sheila brought me to numerous showrooms - for plumbing fixtures, appliances, tile, and even kitchen hardware. Many people said to me along the way, "you are so lucky to have a Sheila" and they were absolutely right! I am so incredibly happy with my home and so grateful to Sheila for everything she did to help me.

To say I was pleased with the staging Sheila did in my listing is an understatement. My seller and I were so happy with her vision and design. I had a dilemma about a unique space in a small living room and dining area and Sheila knew exactly what furniture and accessories to put in the space to make it look so comfortable and casual. She helped create a home that every buyer could envision themselves living in and in fact we had several offers and we sold for over the asking price. I know Sheilas designs helped sell that unit and I will 100% use her services again.
