We have had an amazing experience at K9 so far. We have an 11-month old Swissy who has been working with Carleena in the K9 Camp and the progress we’ve seen with him after a short time is incredible! We also have a Frenchie who spends a couple days a week in the daycare program, which she loves. Both dogs have boarded for multiple nights and that experience was great as well. Karen, at the front desk, is super responsive and helpful whenever we need anything, plans change, etc. It’s obvious that they all care about the dogs and try to do what’s best for them. Prior to K9 we used other places around here and I can’t imagine ever going back to them - that’s how happy we are with K9!

We have been sending our almost-2 year old lab, Ozzie here for the last 2 months. He has been in k9 camp with Carleena & we are completely blown away by how helpful Carleena has been! Ozzie had training as a pup and knows his commands, is overall a good boy, but his kryptonite is another dog nearby - he forgets all his training and just wants to play - screeching on a leash, pulling, whining, ignoring recall. Carleena has improved this behavior 10-fold. After our original package of camp days we went in for a 1:1 training and we were so happy to see Ozzie ignore the dog distractions on a leash for us. Carleena was patient, informative, and so explanatory during the session. We have also seen improvements at home in the house with our cat, the more we practice what he learns at camp, the more chill he is in the house…and the cat is more open to hanging in the same area now. We signed up for another package of camp classes with Carleena & are super excited to see what else they’re able to accomplish together. While we haven’t worked with all the other trainers 1:1, everyone seems so pleasant at drop off & they’re always excited to see Ozzie in the morning, which makes leaving him for the day a little easier. And hearing Karen says “Ozzie!!!” every morning is the warm welcome he looks forward toIt’s clear the staff at K9 Top Performance care about Ozzie’s success and are not just doing a job, selling packages. Thanks K9 team!

I can’t speak highly enough about K9 Top Performance! The staff is so sweet and knowledgeable. My Goldendoodle puppy worked with Nick for a few weeks and then we did a one-on-one training and I’m so happy with the results. Nick is patient, consistent and so good with dogs. Definitely recommend!

We had an excellent experience at K9TopPerformance. Our puppy became so much more manageable. She was a good puppy to begin with but there were a few things we just couldn’t quite get her to do.Carlena gave her the few skills we just hadn’t mastered. We practice every day for 15 minutes and Molly Mae is doing what we want her to do.A big thank you to all the staff that were constantly in communication with us and especially so nice to Molly Mae.

Hard to imagine dropping my dog off here. The employee seems more interested in guarding their entirely open parking lot than training dogs. As I sat eating my bagel next door, I watched her get into verbal arguments with multiple people and call the cops all while holding a Rottweiler that was pulling her around and clearly not getting its deserved attention. Meanwhile, she was repeatedly using outdated training techniques such as leash pops that clearly did not have effect.

Great trainers!! Nick was great with Bailey. I would recommend K9 with 5 stars!! Treat the dogs like they are their own.

We’ve sent three of our dogs here. You can’t find better trainers anywhere else. Karen, the receptionist at the front, is a queen and runs the whole show. 10/10 recommend!

Not happy. I feel my time was wasted for the company to earn money with their dog "camp" - ie, "day care" - and unnecessarily delayed training and that I was not given good, objective advice. Brought in my large, handsome, smart German pedigree GSD with easy temperament at 5.5 mo for assessment and made clear I wanted to work on bite sports/Schutzhund as soon as possible. This dog was bred to work, not just look good, and he needs to work and have a life. He was obviously already calm and teachable beyond his five-month age. The rep said I was in the right place but insisted that my dog have five or six weeks of "camp". Then I had to wait five or six weeks for an opening and then spent next five driving up from Boston one day a week. Upshot is my dog has a good time but reaches 9 months with nothing more than the obedience training that I gave him. Valuable developmental time for learning advanced skills was lost and now he is starting out late in protection at ten months. I feel my great work dog got used to fill space in their profitable "camp". This spectacular dog lost out getting shunted off to doggy day care. Yes, the people are polite and probably competent but I think they are overwhelmed with COVID puppies and just running the business as hard as they can. I think it was up to them to tell me that they could not fit me in.

If you want your dogs abused but are too afraid to do it yourself this is the place to go! we walked away with a severe injury to the neck and swelling in a leg. picked up our dog and went straight to the emergency vet and was slapped with a $2,000 vet bill. Steve Roberts, the owner, was useless as was our “trainer (term used very loosely)”.

I’ve been taking my dog to daycare here for a couple months and boarded him last week while we were away. After assuring me he’d be fine and taken care of, we picked him up and his back leg was so obviously swollen he couldn’t walk on it and he had a 106 degree fever, was severely dehydrated and had lost 5lbs in the week that he was there. We ended up needing to rush him to the emergency vet and he needed surgery to drain the infection. The vet said if it had gone on for another day or two he could have been dead because the infection was so bad. Things happen at daycares and dogs sometimes get injured. That’s understandable, but it’s in their agreement that they will call and take the dog to the vet should something happen while in their care and they didn’t once call us or even mention anything when he was picked up. Since then we have called them to get answers and have given them multiple days to respond and they have been dodging our calls for days saying they’d have the owner call us back and he has not once called us back. Don’t send your dog here, they do not pay attention to them and they do not take care of them.

The entrance to this place should of stopped me there. DIRTY!!My pup was never tied after pickup 7:30 - 5:30. Was very specific as to the training I wanted and my pups needs. They never listened. I asked to have the owner ( Steve Roberts) call me, and have never received a call back. We will never recommend or go back. Also, receptionist is on the rude side. With so many other options in the area, please DO NOT give them your puppy/dog(s). if you love them.

So far we are loving K-9! My Doberman puppy has been training here for a few months and thus far is doing great. He trains with Carly and I can't say more great things about her - she knows her stuff for sure!
