We are new to skating. Bought a pair for my 6 year old girl. Then, we found out they sold us a hockey skates instead of figure/free skating. The return policy is “not worn in the box with a receipt”. We already used the skates on the first day of the class. The above comment is based on what we learned from the instructor and other more experienced parents. Just FYI for potential new customers.

This family business is one of the true gems. Mark and others remember you over the years as your little one grows up playing hockey. They won't oversell the most expensive skates, pads, or sticks, and will recommend the right stuff for you even if it's cheaper. The prices are the same or better than the big box stores, and even online. I thought I was getting an online deal on skates a couple years ago, only to find Mark's prices were better AND they heat mold the skates. This is also the only place I'll go to get skates sharpened. A+++++
