“This is a great local market and when things are on sale their prices match the big box grocery stores. This one is locally owned and operated and I love supporting them! They even have someone in the parking lot to help get your groceries in the car!”
“Clean...the store is really big..wide lanes...fresh fish and fruits...tropical and Caribbean food and fruits are sold in the store. Definitely a great place to go food shopping for the whole family.”
“There is something really special about Trucchi's that stands out in my opinion. The prices are great, as well as the selection, I have never been disappointed here. However, they used to have a Cajun Popcorn, which my wife adored and is no longer offered. So now when I mention Trucchi's, she sheds a tear in remembrance of that. A real shame...We don't live close to this location, the popcorn I mentioned was a strong incentive to go, but no more. A Market Basket opened not 10 minutes from our home so we haven't been back here for quite a while but still think about going here for old time sake...”
“I go there all the times. They have delicious cooked food as well. Staff is kind. They have all the Caribbean favorites. This is the newer Market in Brockton and its in a convenient location, near the gym and stores. One of my favorites items are the cold pressed Juices that I never leave on the shelves. They are made fresh and makes my cleanses easier. Go check it out.”
“I found everything I needed quickly and paid a lot less than expected for my groceries. Im still not happy about the cost of bacon ...but I was in and out fairly quickly.”
“Thos place is like a wormhole back to a time when family owned supermarkets were thriving. They have most products you find at the big chain stores and compliment that selection with a huge selection of cultural food and spices. Love it here. If you have a choice between Vincentes or any "dollar" store, go to Vincentes, prices are low and the people are helpful.”
“It's the only supermarket in the area so I'm glad they're here. Wish you had a few more options at the deli and had some ravioli..I've been going there since you only had the other location.”

544 Westgate Dr, Brockton“New to this market
Not hugh but had a variety of selections in meats, produce, frozen goods and indoor outdoor household gadgets. Similar to a much smaller BJ's or coscos”
“I shop at this market regularly for fresh chicken and vegetables. I have also purchased spices to make Vietnamese, Thai & Filipino food. There are a variety of products including spices, spice packs and seasonings.”
7AM - 10PM
700 Middle St, Weymouth“I like it. I've been told that it's more expensive than your average grocery store, but I've hardly gone anywhere else since moving to Massachusetts. It's a union workplace, so I support it on those grounds, but it's also a generally pleasant shopping experience. One thing I don't like is Marty, the sweeping robot with giant googly eyes and poor programming to get out of the way of shoppers.”
“A large uncrowded middle Eastern market with a vast variety of middle Eastern products, breads, probably the best selection of extra virgin olive oils in the area, homemade humus, baba ghanoush, spices, distilled extracts like orange flower water, mint water , fresh cheeses and meats at reasonable prices with friendly staff. Worth a trip.”
“This was my mom's favorite store when she visited us in Boston. It is a bit of a drive for us, but we will drive past several other closer stores to go to Roche.Selection of products is great! Also, local products are on hand. The store layout is one of my favorites as well. Easy to navigate with wide spaces and aisles. It feels luxurious, like a boutique shop, but with the lower "bigger" grocery store prices. When we recently returned to Boston to stay for a few weeks, we visited Roche right away to stick up on groceries, and Roche had a pineapple jalapeno hummus that my husband could not find at any store in our home town, so he bought half a dozen of them!Look how happy he is to see the hummus on Roche's shelf.”
6AM - 10:30PM
197 Adams St, Boston“I didn't even know about this place, my girlfriend asked me to help her out with a ride for groceries & this is where we went. Great prices, helpful employees, everything you need, they've got it here!”
“I was looking for some corn dog there wasn't any in stock so I asks about five of the employees no one can help me because of a language barrier aside that everything else was great.”
7AM - 9PM
576 Washington St, Dorchester“Spring is in the air. I notice AFB has done spring cleaning. They have a nice e display of fruits and house plants, which is really nice to look at when you walk in. I must say everything is always fully stocked there, and they have been promoting a little more sales. ? Nice neighborhood grocery to stop in, too. Look clean.”
“These reviews are either love or hate. An honest review would be the prices are a bit high, (maybe 30% higher than elsewhere) but it's Easton, so, that should be expected. I imagine Dover and Sudbury are as well. Go to Market Basket in Brockton if you want a deal and have fun waiting in long lines surrounded by a chaotic mob scene. Roche Bros is a quiet place with a nice vibe. Great music and yes, a convenient liquor area. I don't go there often because of the cost, but it's a nice little treat on occasion.”
“America food basket is good in the area because it helps a lot of people that live around especially people in mattapan you know, some people too go there because it's easy to some of them they having free transportation, and then they is gypsy cab over there to,you know, wishes easy for the customer to.”
“Happy supermarket great supermarket everything you need for your friends and family. Excellent place everything you need even MoneyGram in an on-site restaurant for takeout.”
“I rarely grocery shop at America's Food Basket, but it's good that I can find certain products there from the Caribbean when I need them. What I buy there several times weekly, however, is the prepared Haitian foods. The line at the food table has been getting longer as more people are discovering this yummy little secret. The food is sold by the pound, so you can fill your styrofoam take out container with your favorites. The semi sweet fried plantains are a big hit and always disappear the fastest. The griot is another favorite, followed by the fried pork. Often I miss the griot no matter what time I arrive. I've gotten there as early as 10:30 a.m. and the food was there, but that was an exception. It seems that the average time that all of the food will be there is around 11:30 a.m. This food spot is very popular and the food is tasty. Bring your own shopping bag to secure your purchase or pay 10 cents per bag at the checkout. If you cannot wait until you get home to eat, tables and chairs are available near the food. Don't forget to grab your utensils.”
