“This office definitely gets busy during peak hours, and you can expect some long lines. The problem is that people needing regular postal services (which are quick but high in traffic) are mixed in with those coming for passport services (which take longer but have less traffic). So, there’s definitely room to make things more efficient. On the bright side, the staff here are super friendly and professional. If you can swing by during off-peak hours, you’ll be pretty happy with the service!”
“I always have a great experience! One clerk was so kind, I wish I got her name. She could see me struggling to find a reasonable box size for what I was mailing, and she gave me some helpful suggestions and even went out back to find some bubble mailers in the pattern I liked. Everyone who works here is very kind, and I always find that the post office is the lowest price and fastest mailing option!The negative reviews I see give me a laugh — expecting services that are not offered (for free,) blaming system outages on the employees, etc. You can always buy tape and boxes and pack your packages on site! I usually do it with the bubble mailers. This is a great post office and I love the one down the street in Wollaston as well :)”
“I decided to leave a review, because I see so many terrible reviews here. But unlike other folks, I actually had a wonderful experience at this location.
I went in on two separate days, with the maximum sized boxes allowed. 7 boxes in total. A whopping 450 lbs in total! It was by no means an easy order to accept.
Due to my job, I was frustratingly unable to get to the post office any earlier than 4:50 (shortly before they close). Based on these other reviews, you'd think they would have turned me away. But they not only took my packages, they even stayed late to take care of me, BOTH times.
The lady behind the desk was very kind to me. And the manager, Bob, was kind as well, and personally lifted each of those very heavy boxes, and carefully placed them in bins for delivery. He even walked me out the door, and we had a very pleasant chat.
I have no complaints. In fact, I am extremely grateful to both of them, because I am moving to another state this weekend. I have been so stressed out, but this part of my move was made easy due to their hard work and professionalism.
