Had the manager look at stiff steering knuckle instead he broke the clock spring behind the steering wheel leaving me with all the trouble lights on when came to pick it up then he had audasity to charge me $400. For a new one and no car for 4 days ..stay away this guy both him and his helper are both cons! Plenty of other decent mechanics out there..

No longer recommended-The Oil change is $136.62 in May 2024. I've been supporting this local auto shop for oil changes and minor repairs post-COVID, with previously reasonable prices like $75 for an oil change in September 2023 and $25 for tire repairs. However, my latest visit was shockingly different. I was charged $136.62 for an oil change, nearly double what I paid last time. When I questioned the dramatic price increase, the owner simply mentioned that prices are going up. Such a significant price jump without prior notice has left me disappointed. This the most expensive oil change I ever had! It is too crazy! It isn’t reasonable! I won’t be returning!

I went to this repair shop and provided a list of things that needed to be repaired. I explained that my e-mail address was at the bottom of the list and he said he would get to it within a day. Waited a few days and never contacted me back. When speaking with him, he was pleasant but noncommittal when it came to pricing stating that because it was an older vehicle, things may cost more if he finds issues along the way even though the inspection was done by another mechanic.

I am so fortunate to live near this place. After finding out I needed a new serpentine belt by the dealership, I contacted S&W to get a quote. He took the time to answer my questions, and gave me a quote I could not refuse. I must add that his honesty about prices, the job itself, and more are so important, especially to non-car experts like myself. After bringing my car to him, he completed the job in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend S&W to anyone looking for a place that’s friendly and has really good mechanics. Put your money into this small business! 100/10 ?

Andrew is top shelf all the way. Man of integrity and does great work. Found him to be an excellent mechanic who is honest and forthright. Always pleasant. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else

I had a blown radiator in the middle of the winter which meant no heat ! I called around starting with the highest Yelp reviews and everyone was else was too busy to talk to me. S&W (Andrew) picked up and told me to stop by. He quickly sized it up and had me in the the next day. I have an older F150 and once he got the old radiator out he noticed the water pump was also getting older and the hoses off the radiator were wearing down bad. So he offered to replace them without any extra labor cost. The whole thing was surprisingly affordable and he encouraged me have a drink with him at the end of the day and talk about Quincy, his business, and his recycled car oil powered heating system… pretty cool! Anyway I can’t recommend this place enough and I had a great experience. Oh yeah he also gave me a free air freshener for the car that was called Fresh shave which had my truck smelling like a trip to the barber.
