I originally wanted to open a decoration company today. I went to this company because a restaurant company also opened here a few years ago. I trusted them very much, so I gave them the money (cash) first. When I started doing it, I discovered that there was a hidden fee. I didn't say anything when I asked before, so I decided not to open it yet, and asked for the money to be refunded first. I was deducted $50.00, which was said to be a consulting fee. It's $50.00. I can afford it. It's not a big deal. It's just that you make too much money. Hardly! The restaurant company's accounts were done very well before, and there were no problems from opening the company to filing taxes at the end of the year. Today's incident makes me very disappointed.

I would stay away. Doesn't even sit with the customer to file taxes(no private office) and leaves out so many important details. Then emails me back with someone else's income tax file. When I replied to the email to let them know that they have shared a wrong files, owner doesn't even recognize the mistake.

Another tax year is right at the corner, while i am looking for an accountant to do my tax, it reminds me of an experience that i had with Reliable Tax Service in Hancock st, Quincy from last year. I am sorry that i have to say it was a bad experience. I have done taxes (myself and my families, 4 taxes in total per year) there in the past 3 years, the first couple years went okay. There were minor issues but it went fine eventually and I can tell they were willing to help. Last year, due to COVID, we were not able to enter the office to do our taxes per usual, instead, we have to hand off critical documentations at the door and write down info needed for them to complete the tax return. I do understand this kind of process as many other other businesses are doing something similar to protect themselves as well as customers. However, it turned out they made 3 times of mistakes on my tax, and i have to go back and forth for three times to fix/clarify. Not going to elaborate what the mistakes were (both minor and major) but now i have to doubt their professionalisms and courtesy from a customer's perspective. I need a more Reliable Tax Service!!!

I was in a situation where I hadn't done my taxes and the deadline had passed. There were changes I needed to account for, for which I had no familiarity. I put it off and missed the deadline. I went to Reliable Tax Service and they were able to help me quickly and easily. I was embarrassed that I was submitting late but they were so kind and patient with me, and put me at ease right away and completed my taxes quickly. Prices were more than reasonable, and less than the chains. I will be going here from now on.

I was hesitant to call a CPA after tax season to request help because I though I would be judged for filing late. Qina was very kind, professional and nonjudgmental. I asked for a quote over the phone and the actual cost was far below the quote. :) I came came in without an appointment and was helped right away. Qina was quick and efficient. I came in the office worried I would owe money, but she legitimately and accurately file my form so that I will be receiving a nice tax return check just in time for Christmas. I will definitely go back in 2020 and highly recommend her tax preparation services. Thank you Qina!
