Stay clear from this place they are rude they promise you pets and you never hear back from them after traveling miles to go there the place is dirty and all they care about is the moneyBecause the main thing they do there is grooming which they can't even do that rightSo like I said stay away from this place don't waste your time

I'm a volunteer here. QAS is completely volunteer run and the animals are well cared for. All the fur babies from puppies and kittens to seniors are loved so much. The adoption process is very thorough to ensure that animals are placed in the most loving forever homes and if things don't go well we welcome them back with open arms.I have to admit, it's tough because you pretty much want to bring all of them home, Even the fiesty ones, but they just need patience and care.Stop by on Saturdays between 10 am and 2 pm. You just might be fortunate to allow these precious fur babies to choose you as their favorite person!

We got our sweet baby Puma here, a shorthaired black cat. We spoke with someone about our interest and gave the general details of what we were looking for (shorthaired black or tuxedo kitten). After a little while of waiting she sent us the profile of our future baby, explaining his personality and current situation to see if it would make a good match. We picked a date to come get him and the process was seamless. All we paid for were the shots he got and the fact he got spayed before we got him. It was super convenient they did all of that for us. He also came chipped. I 100% recommend the Quincy Animal Shelter. We got the best boy ever.

I used to go volunteer here with Ms. Goodwin back my elementary school teacher back in 2017 or 2018 cant remember but I suddenly disappeared... I was suicidal, just I'm still alive and I missed the cats I played with and took care of suddenly just now seeing it on Google map made me think back i just quit and disappeared..., just I'm sorry I'm a bad volunteer.

I was a volunteer at Quincy Animal Shelter. It’s one of the best shelters I have worked with. People are very friendly and passionate to help the animals. I saw many animals get rescued by the shelter and found a new home. I am very happy to be part of this team
