It's not hard to tell who's going to treat their customers well. I called so many other shops around Quincy but none were as kind, patient and respectful on the phone with me as Jackie at JL Auto. I knew I would be well taken care of. Took my Toyota in with some issues after having driven through an unexpectedly flooded road. Jackie was super friendly, kind, patient and efficient. I know for a fact Jackie could have sold me on some things that I didn't really need but he instead was honest and operated with integrity. If you're looking for an honest mechanic with Japanese import vehicle expertise, and an all around good dude, I strongly recommend Jackie at JL Auto!!! ???

Jackie provided exceptional service! He changed the rear axle of our car in a jiffy, whilst letting us know exactly what’s going to be done to the car and how much it would cost. Very professional

Jackie is our go to Mechanic! My RAV4 had a myriad of problems - Oil pan was stripped, O2 sensor needed to be replaced, and calipers were broken. Jackie fixed everything and did it all so quickly! He was a pleasure to work with and I can't recommend him enough! He took care of my fiancée's honda fit as well when we had some electrical issues after a neighbor of ours gave us a Jumpstart but backwards.My RAV4 feels great to drive again, and I couldn't be happier! Jackie was incredibly honest and straightforward. He charged a very reasonable amount and had my car back to me quickly! I appreciated that he made sure I understood what work needed to be done and why- I’ll be coming back should I need more auto work done!

Best experience with a mechanic I’ve ever had. I had a long list of things that needed to be addressed on my last appointment at JL Auto. I had gotten a much higher estimate from the most reputable Subaru dealer, on the South Shore. With JL Auto, I had an appointment within a week, and a reasonable estimate for the work which included brakes, suspension ball joint, and belts. At JL Auto I have never been disappointed. This wonderful mechanic had the job done so quickly and came in under his own estimate, which was far below the dealership's estimate. When does that ever happen? I can't express the stress-free experience, the level of professionalism, and respect for the customer's time and money, that I feel from every encounter with this shop. I Shopped around and I highly recommend JL Auto for their excellent work, great customer service, and very reasonable prices.

I used JL Auto for the first time this week based on a recommendation from a friend. It’s a garage run by only one guy, Jackie, who was very nice and hospitable. He offered my son and I water and snacks when we came in for a quote to replace the brakes and rotors on my 2017 Lexus NX200T. I shopped around and his prices were the most reasonable so I set up an appointment right away. I came back a week later and he finished within the time frame he said which was 2hrs. Very happy with the service and the quality of his work. Brakes work great and no squeaking like some of the other auto shops I’ve been to. Best thing was his parts had a warranty and he offers 2 years warranty for his work as well which is 1-1.5 years longer than most other garages. Will be bringing my Honda Civic to him as well.Service: Brakes

Once South Century Auto closed down on Newport Ave. I needed to find a new place to get my oil change. I asked friends if they had any recommendations and everyone mentioned this place. I like having a mechanic I can trust, and Jackie looks to be able to do just that!

Jackie is the best mechanic. You certainly can't beat the prices he offers. He's very honest and reliable. I got my tires changed and aligned- it was quick and efficient. I will definitely be back for all my car needs.
