About 3 things didn’t went well at this hotel:
1- Room hot Shower was on and off at few occasions.
2- For some reason they need went in to clean the room, I call the lobby they said they had no idea why.
3- The lobby has a little freezer with some items for sale , they run out of bottles of water and never refill it.
Besides that this was a good experience and I will recommend it to anyone.

Very nice hotel, horrible location along with parking. When you check in, you're charged $15 for parking, mins you that there are 2 hotels together with a very small parking lot. After searching for parking, I ended up parking on the street outside of the lot, luckily no one tampered with my vehicle. I then went back to front desk to let her know to waive my parking and she did. Rooms were very clean, liked the separate living room from the bedroom. Breakfast was ok, your typical hotel breakfast, my waffle was taken from the waffle iron by some lady who thought she was at the Ritz Carlton, where breakfast is made for you, lol. She did apologize and said she didn't know how things worked. Parking was the worst part of this hotel!
Rooms: Very clean suites, enough beds for 3 adults with the sleeper sofa.
Safety: Parking on the street to me was a safety issue and there is no security or security gates to keep cars safe.
Food and drinks: Food was ok, really wish that hotels would make scrambled eggs using real eggs and not those so called omelettes. They always have cheese in them and I'm not a cheese eater.

Breakfast time ended before 9:30, and guests were not allowed to go in to get food. I saw an old lady slowly walking to the door, but the door was already closed. The guests did not ask for an extension, but the restaurant decided to Can't we close the door 2 minutes early? ! I hope the hotel manager can remind the restaurant staff to pay attention to this problem!
Food and drinks: Breakfast is average, nothing delicious.

The only positive thing is that the room was clean.
Here are the points that need to be improved:
- you must pay for their parking but they don’t have enough places for there costumers. You end up to pay the price and park in a supermarket parking 400 feet away from the hotel. Really not easy with young kids. The woman at the front desk wasn’t very happy when I asked her where I had to park and she barely explained the way and gave me the map only the second time I asked her. The narrow entrance of the hotel is often occupied by trucks (yes, a towing truck the first time and a delivery truck the second time) so you can’t really stop there to let the passengers go in.
- the breakfast is a “chaos”. You almost have to fight to get a place to seat with your family (4 people). The food station is often empty and not enough plates for everyone. Maybe due to a lack of employees, we didn’t really see staffs on the floor (except 30 min before the end of the time where an employee close the food station door half way…). The tables were dirty because no staff to clean it between each use.
- the restroom beside the dining hall didn’t have soap to wash our hands… (see the picture I took)
- We stayed 3 nights and the body wash lotion was empty the 2 last nights even if I wrote a memo next to the cleaning staff tip envelope (they collected my tips both times btw …).
The whole experience was a deception, but I believe/hope that their direction will make improvements in a near futur to make this hotel a “must stay” in Quincy.
Rooms: Clean but lack of amenities.
Food and drinks: The trays are almost always empty. The plates table was empty most of the time. The tables were dirty.

My stay at the Holiday Inn Express Boston - Quincy was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is modern, clean, and conveniently located, offering easy access to both downtown Boston and the Quincy area. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, with comfortable beds, modern amenities, and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
The complimentary breakfast is a standout, with a wide variety of hot and cold options that are constantly replenished. The dining area is bright and welcoming, making it a great way to start your day. The staff is another highlight—they are genuinely friendly, attentive, and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need.
The hotel also offers ample parking with a $15 fees and they have also offsite parking within 500 ft away from the hotel because sometimes the parking lot is full, a well-equipped fitness center, and free Wi-Fi, which is a big plus. Whether you’re in town for business or leisure, the Holiday Inn Express Boston - Quincy provides a comfortable and convenient home base. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!
Rooms: Clean renovated rooms
Safety: Very safe
Walkability: Within 4 minutes walk from the metro station

I have stayed here many
Many times while visiting family in Quincy & Cohasset. Everyone I arrive I am welcomed warmly. The hotel is generally full yet they do their utmost to make sure a mess is cleaned right away. For instance there was chocolate on an elevator button smeared. By the time I returned no more than ten minutes later it had already been cleaned and sterilized.

Stayed 4 nights in July 2024. Not enough parking, had to part overnight down the street at supermarket. The breakfast was a mess. Short staffed, and arguing/fighting with each other. Ran out of many things throughout the 4 nights. Second main door was busted and jimmied up. Poorly managed hotel with a great location across from the T.

This hotel is great if you want to visit Boston. Not too far from the city and the train station is just next door.
Checking in was easy. Staff were very friendly. My room was cozy and simple. No complaints at all. I'll definitely book here again when I come to Boston.

Checked in at around 9pm Wednesday last night..the lady at the front was just meh doing her job.. not welcoming just there…
One we walked in the room there was this strong smell of another person being there before us.
The beds looked put together until I decided to lay down and again another strong smell of a person being there and laying there. Seemed to be like the sheets were not changed just put back together to make it look neat.
The bathroom door was dirty with white and dark stains, you can tell they are removable.. so it just wasn’t cleaned.. the bathroom sink was full of paste and also wasn’t cleaned. I ended up going to the other queen bed and sleeping there and left it alone because it was only a one night stay and I need to get back to work the next day!!! Thank God it was just a one night stay.!! Also!! Pillows and bed were not comfortable.. bed felt like cardboard and pillow flattened 3 minutes in. NOT WORTH THE PRICE AND EILL NOT RECOMMEND FOR BUSINESS STAY AND LESS VACATION STAYS, parking is $15 Breakfast is supposed complimentary but not staying for that after experiencing this room.
