I came to Zephyr after seeing 4 different trainers for my 4 YO German Shepherd I acquired through a rehome at 2YO. He has been labeled dog and human aggressive. Two trainers recommended euthanasia, and all of them called him the worst case of aggression they’d ever seen. Within 5 minutes of our session, Zephyr was able to get Bear under control and walking in a heel next to him. No trainer has been able to do that before(it’s usually multiple sessions/hours before he would stop lunging and barking). We even were able to introduce my Bear to another dog in the same session after almost 2 years of no canine contact. I went home with the tactics Zephyr gave me and walked my neighborhood past people and dogs that my Bear would typically be at the end of his leash barking/lunging at. But using the techniques Zephyr gave us kept Bear in a perfect heel the whole time! I want to call it a miracle, but really it is Zephyr’s years of knowledge and experience. Thank you, Zephyr, for giving Bear and I a new start.

Our 15 month old rescue Staffie was becoming worse and worse every week and every month. We tried two trainers and worked with a behavioralist and her aggression just continued to worsen. Hundreds of hours, and many dollars and all our love and energy and we hit the point where our vet told us we should put her down.Today Zephyr came and changed our lives in just an hour and a half. Within 20 minutes she was heeling and behaving like the dog we always wanted: attentive and loving. Like the dog we saw inside with our family, out walking around out in public.She is like a new dog. On her off leash play earlier this evening our neighbors couldn’t believe it. Everyone who knows her is going to be asking for your number (two so far). Her nemesis walked by barking and all I needed to do was click her leash and one turn around and she sat and didn’t make so much as a woof.We just walked AT NIGHT to the park and we saw 7 dogs and she was an angel.Thank you Zephyr. This was the best dog day in a long long time.

Zephyr is incredible! We've had our dog Lily for four years, and she's always been very anxious and refused to go for walks - she always set up a "safe perimeter" of about 10-20 feet around our home, and she just froze and refused to go beyond it when we got that far. We had worked with other trainers, read about different strategies online, spent hours and hours working with her on our own, and even tried several anxiety medications from her veterinarian, but nothing worked. In just one session with Zephyr today, he got Lily walking beyond her safe zone! We practiced walking her with the techniques he showed us, and she was focused on us and walking so much more confidently. We got a good understanding of how to communicate with her and show her that we're leading so that she doesn't need to focus on anything but us. We can't wait to start taking her for longer walks! We had almost given up on that being an option for us and Lily, and I'm so glad we gave it one more shot with Zephyr. Would highly recommend him to anyone!!

After trying various trainers who told us we have an aggressive dog, Zephyr immediately saw that our dog is simply very afraid. He understood our dog Jax and his personality immediately! And knew exactly what Jax needed to help build trust between us and reduce his fears. Within an hour we had several new tactics to use that have been very helpful! We have found a trainer that cares enough to really be in tune with Jax and exactly the way to handle him! I had a great experience bringing my highly reactive dog to GBD tonight. I found Zephyrs approach to be calm, low stress and educational. He explained so much about not only how to correct unwanted behaviors , but also why they were occurring and how I was reinforcing them without knowing. I would not hesitate to reach out in the future for any needed additional training.

The reviews are really old so I thought to add a recent one . Zepher came out to our home for an initial consultation for our 2 rescue dogs . He spent a lot of time explaining things to us about the dogs behavior and we worked on walking and leash techniques. We saw immediate improvement in both dogs and so appreciative of his knowledge and expertise. He also didn't try to sell us a big package we didn't need but made an assessment based on our actual visit. I highly recommend!

We had our first hour and a half consult training today, and our boy is already doing so much better on the leash! Zephyr is amazing, and we’re looking forward to more time with him!

Zephyr is like the dog whisperer! I have two rescue dogs an 8yr old boxer mix and an 11month old Australian Shepherd mix. What I learned from him during my consultation appointment is life changing. worth every penny! I would recommend this business to anyone I know.

If you are looking for dog training, look no further. Zephyr is an INCREDIBLE, knowledgeable, dog trainer. He has the BEST prices in the area by far; especially considering what his services entail (and I did my research). Zephyr is an excellent teacher who shows you exactly how to train your dog to comply with your expectations safely. My dog has learned to sit, stay, lay down, come, heel, walk on the leash properly, etc. We have done many private, in-home sessions and my dog has completely changed for the better. She was already a great dog to begin with, but Zephyr taught her how to be calm, obedient, and CONSISTENT! In addition, he checks in with me to see how my dog is doing in between sessions and to see how I'm doing with the training. He's also given me product suggestions (collars, leashes, treats) which have proved to be of great benefit. He's patient and kind with both myself and my dog! I have raved to many people about Zephyr and will continue to because he has literally improved my quality of life with my dog. Thank you so much!!!

Zephyr has a board and train boot camp for puppies. I was over his place hanging out with him and he was showing me what he can get these puppies to do and it is incredible! The next time I get a puppy, I will be going to Zephyr to potty train it, teach the dog to heal, and come when called!
