I wouldn’t do business with this lady. I gave her 2suite cases with Brand name clothing Karen Mullen, Cole Han, Ralph Lauren ( suits, coats, leather bag and tops). She gave me $76 for my share. While I gave just a small bag to another consignment store in Quincy and received more. I definitely was cheated.

The consignment shop that was in this location before was fabulous, I had a long relationship consigning, I thought I could do the same with this Finders Keepers.

The best consignment shop I’ve ever been to. Amazing selection of brand name clothing, at a more than reasonable price. Many, many have tags on. Great shop.

I wish I could give this negative 5 stars in regards to the following; (*if you are a Quincy local or out of town visitor, please take a moment to read before entering this shop on Beale street in Wollaston.) I thrift shop and consign all over this region, I always enjoy the finds and deals, as well as the local small businesses that put effort and pride into their shops. It feels good to be a part of such a fun green movement that my generation has become so accustomed to with shopping. I am very disheartened to report that this consignment shop, which is located in my neighborhood, is unfortunately the least professional, insultingly hostile, and least desirable of all the stores I frequent regularly. I had become used to hearing the owner tear apart family and friends whilst gossiping over the phone, hastily responding to myself (a customer) when asking for assistance. This did not phase me as much, I just considered she was having difficulties. Upon visiting for another time, she took her negativity to deeper level, violating all professionalism, rudely chastising a Chinese woman shopping with her child, who apparently was going to the dressing room without prior admission by this owner. (who is located way in the back of the other room, easily over 300 lbs and does not like to get up). Another woman came in after the fact, with the owner then spewing racism and disdain for her "Asian customers" as "the worst, loud, annoying people that come here." She looked to this woman, another unsuspecting Caucasian shopper like myself, to cosign her vicious remarks, which were followed by blank stares from both of us as we awkwardly continued shopping. I ended up finding a great shirt for my mother for Christmas, bought it w/ a guilty feeling for supporting this woman's business and left. This week I went to CVS to get a prescription refilled and had 20 minutes to wait, so I stopped over to Finders Keepers to see their selection. I walked in and the owner for once was actually towards the front of the store, talking to a "friend" or shopper, (unconfirmed), about how much she "cant stand this Irish lady", who "comes in all the time and is just awful to have to talk w/, she doesn't even buy anything." They proceeded to discuss how some shoppers come in "high" and have their "heads down like they're retarded." She went on to say that when she sees someone who looks like a drug addict she wants to put a closed sign on the door. That there was a woman who was "weird" that the owner and her friend stopped last week in the middle of the store because she has a bump under her jacket and looked suspicious. The woman revealed herself as pregnant, to which the owner supposedly apologized, stating that the woman then walked out to which the owner said, "go ahead, I don't need that weird trash in here." She and this other woman went on talking about various people they know that are addicted to drugs, using last names and further crude comparisons of peoples w/ addictions and other groups of people struggling in circumstance. I am a social worker who has worked with individuals on the autism spectrum for most of my career, I practiced drug and alcohol counseling for 2 years, and unfortunately for this owner, a heavy spender of consigned goods. I am disgusted that a business owner would conduct her shop in such an immoral, insensitive, unprofessional, crude manner of operation. Everyone has opinions of those suffering with afflictions, a lot of people are products of systematic racism, and of course, some people are just "annoying" to talk to. But to emanate personal feelings of oppressive values into the workplace as a local business owner, in your constructed public place of sales, in front of customers, who's backgrounds you have no knowledge of in terms of offending or hurting, is UNACCEPTABLE. I felt obliged to report these condition

Staff is a bit rude both on the phone and in store. Acting like they are doing a favor by answering your questions or waiting on you. Kids clothing is overpriced and worn.
