This man is ruthless and heartless. Dont ever bring your car here, I’ll use my self as a sacrifice and lesson to you all. And I hope you listen. As you can see I’m not the only negative review he has on here, I just wished I listened and read the reviews earlier on. I brought in my Toyota Prius to fix the caliber and brakes, he told me my car will be ready later in the day, I couldn’t pick it up when he called, so I said I will get it on Monday because he’s closed on Sundays. Monday comes by I was working all day so I couldn’t pick it up. He calls me on Wednesday just to tell me my car battery is dead, I should bring a battery with me, I was confused because it was working fine. I arrive there he wouldn’t even help me put in the battery, plus he wanted to have my car towed thank goodness the towing company gave me a heads up, I don’t know what he did to my car, between those days, but my battery was fine when I brought it here and now it’s done. So save your self money and stress and go else where, there are better places to get your car fixed, if I could leave a negative star I would. This man doesn’t deserve to be in business, im sure there are many lawsuits against this scam artist

I came here several times for whole week. Every time i was told tomorrow. I came on 2pm on Friday and was told to leave the car without any estimate because it's too late. The guy there just "didn't want" to do rough estimate. I don't know what they are doing in this shop but they definitely not interested in doing car repairs for you. Fortunately, there are other good repairs in short distance

I went to this shop to review my car before because my car was older and I was afraid it wouldn't pass. After hearing my doubts, the mechanic explained to me that as long as the car's performance was stable and good, there was nothing to worry about. I think my car is the same as what he said, so the car passed the inspection successfully. Thank you!

0 Stars........My family has been using Darren’s/DW Auto’s services for well over 10 years, for several different vehicles. He, for the most part has been a very reliable and fair mechanic. There have been only a couple questionable issues over the years. Nothing to stop using him for or to write a yelp/google review about though. I would have suggested his shop to anyone up until last week. My Jetta has had 3 or 4 different issues in the last 3 months, suspension, exhaust and brakes….. Darren always provides a quote over the phone before work being done so I can ok it. This past week I asked for a quote on brakes. He had told me when I got my suspension fixed a few months earlier that they were going to be my next issue.He told me on the phone that brakes and rotors for the entire car would cost me about $900 dollars. He said the price could rise if he found there was anything wrong with the calibers. I asked how much he said he would not know until he looked at the car. Because this was my first brake job I called around to compare. I called a mechanic shop in Braintree and the nice gentleman explained that it too should only cost $900 dollars and calibers were not typically a needed fix but it would be around $125 for each caliber but in his 15 years he had never seen all 4 calibers needed to be fixed at once. The VW dealership quoted me $1300 over the phone. So, naturally I went with Darren.When I called Darren to get the final price a few days later he stated $1400 dollars. I was shocked. I said you said $900 where did $1400 come from? Did you have to replace calibers? He said no kind of laughed and said it's $1400. When I picked it up he said to come back later in the week for an invoice. This is not a way to treat return customers. Thats $500 more than quoted and I still have no invoice to see why the massive jump? I called him back today to ask for more detail and why it was so much and he said he will strip the brakes and I can go somewhere else. So I called the other Braintree mechanic they still said $900. I called Darren back he said $500 to strip the car. I stated that we had worked with him for over 10 years and this feels like robbery and poor customer service treatment. He was literally yelling at me. I said you are not a nice guy. DON'T USE DW AUTO!!!Services: Exhaust

I went to this place for inspection. Charged me extra $40 saying my head light was too high. Altitude was extremely bad.

The worst experience ever! The guy is very rude and impatient!I wanted to cancel the inspection half way from his way, he locked me in the inspection box closed the door and wanted to hit me with his metal rod just because I wanted to cancel!It’s not safe, bad service and the worst experience in my life

I asked the worker how much it would be to put on a rear brake shoes on a 2010 Kia soul. Worker told me that what I am asking for is too hard. I can literally YouTube and do this myself I just don't want to because I don't like working on cars when it's cold

You are better off going elsewhere to get your state inspection done. I dropped by to get a state inspection, and was told that the "tinted glasses" would fail the state inspection. Not knowing much I did a quick search on the related law. It says 35% is the minimum UV passthrough required, and my tinted glasses are at 55% block rate which should be fine.I then quickly took my car to another body shop and got the state inspection done within 10 minutes.I was completely speechless at how much time I wasted with this place.Service: Vehicle Inspection
