Currently showing the work of Sam Feinstein: The Radiance of Colour. This exhibit is a holy WOW. I have had a few transcendent
experiences through paintings in my life: Velazquez at the National Gallery in London on a Saturday evening with the gallery all to myself; Matisse at the Tate Modern where I was so uplifted I walked back to Marylebone in utter wonder; Picasso's huge studies of Velazquez' Las Meninas; and now these extraordinary living, breathing paintings of Feinstein's...my head, my heart, my spirit - refreshed, renewed, inspired.
Oh - and there is a wonderful exhibit of photographic portraits of local artists taken over the last few years = it's terrific.

PAAM is a gem and should not be missed. They have interesting exhibitions, including regular shows of work by members, many of whom are very accomplished artists, and an educational program with first-rate teachers. When touring Provincetown galleries, don't stop at the "Gallery District," but keep going up to PAAM. You will be rewarded.

Definitely worth a visit and a great asset to our town. A wonderful place to become more familiar with the terrific Provincetown art scene and located in the gallery district in the East End.
