Queen Vic Guest House Provincetown
166 Commercial St, ProvincetownWow! Where to start is truly the question. EVERYTHING was perfect! We got in late which was arranged and our room keys taped to the front door. In the normal world this is just not done because of safety. But Provincetown is amazingly safe. The accommodations were first class! Meals delivered to your room (home cooked and delicious!), cocktail hour with other guests, beach chairs & umbrellas provided, and friendly people. The rooms & common areas are beautifully decorated and the art was a delightful combination of classy & whimsical. For the rest of PTown...Our time in PTown coincided with Bear Week which was pretty fun. We met the nicest people. So many men in one area with no fighting, aggression or bad behavior. If the world would replicate the vibe we'd be a happier society. The public beach bathroom was the cleanest and smelled like cologne. All the restaurants were fantastic! Had the best grilled cheese of my life. Great coffee shop on the corner and fun/funky stores on the main drag. We wish we could have stayed longer. We're looking forward to our next visit.

31 Bradford St, ProvincetownI had lunch here two times. My partner and I think it's GREAT. I'm looking forward to having dinner here. Food is excellent and it's reasonable too. Eggs Benedict w lox was amazing. I cooked professionally for years. I so so appreciate when things all come out properly cooked and delicious, as anyone would. 1620 Brewhouse
214 Commercial St, ProvincetownListen, if you've got an hour before the ferry leaves back to Boston, come here and get a burger. No use eating healthy like a salad after spending a bacchanalian weekend in P-Town. Jamie W and I were feeling especially peckish since we didn't have time to make breakfast before leaving our Airbnb spotless. We had seen this cavernous place from the street over the weekend, and saw a popular drag show brunch in full swing. It was comparatively a lot quieter on a Monday morning. Perusing the menu, we decided to split the $18 Classic Burger prepared medium rare (photo: A wise move as I didn't want to overeat before our boat trip for fear of...well, y'know (review of our ferry ride to P-Town: I'm not sure what made the burger so satisfying but it was. They stated "organic grass-fed Braveheart beef". Sounded fancy, but the price was reasonable. The soft brioche bun and crispy fries helped. Time to board. FOOD - 4 stars...a satisfying burger just at the right time AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...quite spacious without a drag show SERVICE - 3.5 stars...friendly enough TOTAL - 4 stars...sometimes all you need is half a juicy burger RELATED - Exploring Provincetown?
