We had a lovely experience purchasing a vehicle from Volvo Cars Plymouth. We worked with AJ and he was a great salesman - not pushy, set us up with all the test drives we wanted, and even brought a vehicle up from their other dealership for us.
They made the sale and transition to the new vehicle seamless.
We will be back for a future vehicle and definitely recommend the dealership and AJ especially.

Volvo Cars Plymouth “We go the extra mile” My first hand experience.
Thursday 8.8.24 – Alternator Dies, $55.00 tow to Volvo Cars Plymouth
Friday 8.9.24 – Volvo Cars Plymouth recommends replacing the Alternator and 4 new tires at $1200.00 without tax (tires were rated at 3.30 seconds). Everything else was reported as in good condition. Agree to replace the Alternator and wait on the tires, $1806.10, take the car home.
Saturday 8.10.24 – TS Debby, car stays home.
Sunday 8.11.24 – Take car out to run errands, car dies, $125.00 tow back to Volvo Plymouth.
Monday 8.12.24 – Volvo Cars Plymouth identifies a rusted clamp that came loose, a clamp that needed to be removed in order to install the new alternator and that was what caused the car to stall. Am informed that the clamp was in poor rusty condition when it was re-installed on Friday and that they do not have that part in stock and will have to go to another dealership to get one. Total clamp cost $19.72. Advises that the bill will be around $100.00 but agrees to lower the overall price. They also confirm that the Volvo will be ready by the end of the business day. Volvo Plymouth sends complimentary drivers service to pick me up. Arrive at Volvo Plymouth, inquire about the clamp, am shown the clamp that was said to have been in place in my Volvo, they not only demonstrate why the clamp failed by tugging at it and showing how it not fastened and that it is clearly in very poor condition with the rust. The invoice “vehicle was in last week for alternator repair”. Total repair cost $61.45.
Questions as I drove away – Why does my drivers’ door handle have a big black grease smear? Why was the integrity of the clamp not verified prior to reinstalling it on Friday? If the part had been in stock, would they have replaced it on Friday? Is it normal practice to re-install worn out parts? Did this worn-out clamp jeopardize my safety and that of my passengers? Is it customary to make recommendations on replacing vehicle tires that are quoted at $1200.00 without tax, but not a hose clamp that costs $19.72? Will my Volvo make it through the week without another unnecessary breakdown?

We just purchased a used vehicle from Volvo Cars of Plymouth. I have to say it was actually a pleasant experience, there was no haggle in pricing, we had done our homework on the vehicle we purchased so we knew we got a deal we were satisfied with. The Salesman Mike Mullen was straight up about the deal great guy and honest, you know in your gut whether to trust someone and Mike was trustworthy……and my favorite Red Sox of all time is Ted Williams….this guy Mike Mullen is a look a like best I’ve seen as a look alike ….so all in all it was a great experience and I recommend dealing with Volvo Cars of Plymouth…thank you Mike.

We had a breakdown near Plymouth on way home to NH. Car towed to Volvo Plymouth. Trevor and management did their very best and got us back on the road same day, in spite of their full service schedule. Great people, first class service & premises. Thank you!!

Volvo Plymouth has a wonderful young man, Trevor, in their service dept.
For a year my husband’s phone/car connection has not worked. Trevor was able to find the glitch, reprogram the Google system and finally coordinate my husband’s phone; numbers, music, etc!
He called to tell me before even getting home because he’s so psyched and grateful!

We had a great experience with Volvo Cars Plymouth. Mark was our sales person. He was very easy to work with. The car was priced fairly both on the buy side as well as the trade-in side. We were happy with our purchase. He was knowledgeable and very responsive to our questions.
