Nothing but good experiences so far. Happy to have switched to them! I've seen two different vets and they've both been very kind and knowledgeable. Pricing is reasonable as well.

My frenchie has been coming to the pet resort for daycare since the summer. He loves coming here especially to see his favorite gal Nicole! I feel comfortable leaving him as she takes care of him like she would her own. She is the best over at VCA. Thank you Nicole for loving Luca as your own!

Let's start off by saying I have a very moody cat...and by saying "moody" I'm being nice. It's embarrassing bringing her to the vet...they put on the gloves to the elbows and she growls and hisses. Well my little angel was sick, and I needed help. I have no idea what Plymouth VCA did but you would never know this was my cat they examined! They were amazing...she was calm, not even a meow! They were so nice and I am so relieved with the treatment she received. The technician kept telling me how great she was. They told me I could take her back to her regular vet.....ummmmm no you are now my regular vet

Unfortunately this has been my second visit with this specific urgent care however I MUST say both times I have been absolutely blown away with the most patient, caring, compassionate, and excellent care for my pup. They truly show the upmost of care to both the animal and their OWNERS making you feel like you are the most important client in an office full of hurt or sick animals. I highly highly recommend them in every aspect of care. Thank you for having the compassion you do for these animals.

This is my dog’s vet and I just have to say that we had a late appointment tonight and Victoria and the doctor that Chewy saw made me feel like we were the first customers of the day. They were so nice, professional and great at their jobs. Really made me and Chewy feel special. Victoria was such a breath of fresh air after what I thought could be a stressful visit. Highly recommend!!

I couldn't be happier with the service. My dog had a procedure on Tuesday, and they took great care of her. You can tell each person really cares about the animals.

I have always had a great experience with my dogs here. Dr. Stewart and staff were so good about my high anxiety dog that put me at ease. When we had to put him down, everyone there was so helpful and accommodating. They sent a very sweet card as well and made sure we were ok. Now we have a new puppy and I couldn't picture taking him anywhere else.

I have owned dogs my whole life, traveled state to state and used many veterinarians; This is by far the most caring and competent vet staff and hospital. The VCA care plan is great, saves you $$$. I trust them with my most loved family member

We have taken our dogs here for four plus years. They have been exactly what they should be professional, kind and friendly. We've had teeth cleaned, illnesses diagnosed and treated, well care, boarding. The girls in the pet hotel are always sweet and friendly with our girls. Office staff are professional friendly and helpful. We've seen several vets all have been friendly sweet and competent. They've kept the girls up to date on vaccines. We are both health professionals and quite selective about our dogs care. My dog is a seven pound Maltese my husband's is a large English Golden. Both dogs receive great care just what we want for our very loved girls.

DONT BRING YOUR PETS HERE,OR ANY VCA LOCATIONS!These people only care about taking your money-they arent interested in treating your pet,or caring about you.Yesterday-02-22-19,we brought in our 18 year old elderly cat who was suffering from end stage kidney disease.I told them she was dying, and I asked them to make her comfortable. They did not, instead they told me that she needed blood work, then suddenly, the machine that does the testing wasnt working. They wanted us to wait until tomorrow for the results. Can you believe it?My cat was dying! They charged me over $320.All they gave her was fluids, only after my repeated request. We ended up going to Cape Cod Veterinary Center In Buzzards Bay just a few hours later My poor little cat was put to sleep less than 3 hours after leaving the Plymouth VCA location.Every time I asked Plymouth VCA to make our cat comfortable, they kept telling me they needed to wait until the bloodwork came back-their machine wasnt working-well guess what ,we couldn't afford to wait until the next day.The VCA had no mercy for my cat,or for us.This is not the first time they have basically stolen our money-getting us to buy items of insignificance. They push supplies/supplements on you. This all took place right in front of my child.Because of the negligence of VCA Plymouth, our cat suffered needlessly, and my child had to endure the added burden of watching her loved one suffer. The VCA Plymouth, certainly should have had mercy on us,and should have done so much better for our loving kitty family member.TOTAL SHAME ON THEM.THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY! Two days prior to this I was given a same day appointment at the Whitman location for my sick chicken. In the past,we have seen DrWilliams at the Hanson location, but that day she was in Whitman. The location is over 40 miles from where we live.We got stuck in a little bit of traffic on the way,and ended up 12 minutes late for our appointment.Instead of trying to fit us in,they told me that their appointments are scheduled back to back, with no room for tardiness.REALLY?Even my own doctors office has a 10 minute window. Then they wanted to send me to their Weymouth location where the basic exam price is much higher, partly because they are a 24 hour clinic. This is after driving 40 miles on school vacation, just to be turned away

My wife and I had to put down our beloved dog this afternoon. The staff was very accommodating and sympathetic to our grief. I wish i had names of all the personal that we encountered but they were all top notch and empathetic. Thank you so much.

VCA animal hospital is phenomenal. Dr Krieger in particular is wonderful with my dogs. I recently lost my long time pal Beau at almost 10 years young. She not only worked to try to save him, when he was transferred to VCA Weymouth she continued to advocate for me and Beau. People say they are pricey and that may be true (I'm a single mom) but for me it's worth it to have someone i trust and know is always putting my fur baby's welfare first.

This place suuuuucks. They have one decent vet and that's it. One vet cornered my pit bull puppy, pinned him to the ground, and gave him a shot because he was afraid and now he's scared and aggressive towards vets (thanks for that impatient, bald, a****** vet). We brought my other dog there when she was a puppy because she was limping. After three visits of us complaining about her limp and asking for x-rays they told us each time that she was faking for attention and didn't react in pain to any touching. Well we started seeing a new vet and the very first visit they diagnosed her with a torn ligament in her knee that has "so much scar tissue that surgery would be almost impossible." Thank you VCA for dropping the ball every time we went and charging exorbitant prices. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT YOUR PETS.

The office and all the employees I have encountered are so friendly and helpful. I just started to come here after a friend recommended them. It was a perfect recommendation.

I'll start with saying I'm only giving the facility one star because the front desk staff and check out have been consistently great...friendly and obviously animal lovers! I've been bringing my pup to the Plymouth VCA for basic care for the past10 years...which is her present age. Over this time period I've experienced dogie day care, which may be great for most pets but wasn't for mine as she has partial deafness and, more so in her younger years, separation anxiety issues. She was shaking when I had picked her up and ran straight out of the gate as soon as she saw me. She had a few scratches although nothing serious but I was disappointed in the staff for them not informing me as I would of made arrangements to of picked her up earlier. Anyway, moving along and knowing that that wouldn't be an option in the future, I still continued to use the services of the medical care of the facilties veterinarians. Overall things went well and everyone seemed caring and accommodating for my pups treatments, although later found that there wasn't a thoroughness with her care...for example....during an annual exam the vet noticed a scratch on one of her corneals and not only never prescribed any eye drops for her but never documented noticing it. She later had issues with the eye. which I took her to a specialist at the Weymouth location. I have used the Weymouth VCA for mostly all of her more serious medical concerns, such as torn ACL surgery and corneal opacity procedures with Dr. David Diamond and eye specialist Dr. Stephanie Pumphrey which both are just amazing and caring specialist. Though today at Plymouth VCA I have to say was the worst experence that I have ever seen in vet service over the 24 years that I have been a pet owner between two pets. When I took my pup in for just routine blood work, the technician that came out to retrieve her said that I was not allowed in the treatment area as it was against policy and that I would have to wait in the waiting. I explained that I have always been allowed to be along side her and that it would be much easier to withdraw the blood if I was. She continued to refuse even after explaining that she can be at unease when she's not clear of what's going on or expected of her. I could only watch her walk off with my pup. While waiting I heard her yelping loudly on two occasions so that's when I went looking for her just to find her being held upon a slightly hanging of a coked position by one of the Vets of all people, (although all four paws were still on the floor), by use of a VCA choke leash and in much distress. I techician was attempting to wrap some gauze around her facial area of if to maybe muzzle her...although hard to tell at that stage as I just barged in and they stopped. I was then going to take her without having the blood work done but then they agreed to let me stay and hold her for a simple back leg blood withdrawal...which BTW she did not even twitch for. This was after giving her several minutes to catch her breathe. I then easily muzzled her, with an actual muzzle, to put the technician at ease. The Vet was only present up until I came into room which normally....this vet knew her well and had been great with her while I was present in the past so this action, behind closed doors, was very shocking to me and a bit extreme! Once home she laid on the floor panting and now very late in the eve has still not opt to eat her food. I will be notifying someone in charge there and getting her checked out in a.m. if she's not still eating. Boxers are known to be loving and gentle family dogs. Needless to say...I won't be returning to the Plymouth VCA and would advise anyone else to always be present with there loved ones. To top it off...I found out it's NOT a policy that the owner can not be present and that technician should of never denied my access.
