Plimoth Cinema is a quaint and sweet old-fashioned theater showing well-chosen, independent films that are not normally mainstream, often requiring a trip to Boston to see. It shows mostly indie and some popular films. The cinema is located at Plimoth Plantation, where one passes by a native flower garden to enter the building housing its two theatres. It is a very comfortable place that is not overcrowded. There is a small concession stand with popcorn, candy, and canned soda. The staff is excellent, friendly, and helpful. The cinema remained open during the pandemic with adherence to public health guidelines. Hearing aid devices and membership discounts are available. A complaint is the lack of closed captions and sometimes poor speech clarity, but the audio is otherwise good. It is a great place to watch a good, meaningful film on a rainy day.

It is a quaint Cinema that gives one the choice of an independent movie that normally you would have to go into Boston to see - And it is not overcrowded and a short drive from my house ! A win - Win situation for sure ♥️
