Call to be sure they are open, as they sometimes close early for private events, but the museum is typically open Wed-Sunday until 5pm (last admittance at 4:30). I really appreciated the original artifacts (pictures are for personal use only or I would share), but also all the stories!!!
I was able to get an amazing visual for my classes form the gift shop too.
There is a ramp and an elevator, so fully accessible, but it is also pretty remarkable that the museum turns 200 years old this year!

Great museum that thoroughly explains the history of Plymouth from the arrival of the early settlers. Contains many genuine artefacts found from the Mayflower, as well as a lot of information on the first years of the colony. Also has a Great Hall containing some creative and expansive representations of the first landing as well as the first thanksgiving. Super friendly and talkative staff available to discuss anything you'd like !

Love this amazing museum steeped in history from a woman's perspective. Donna executive director thank you for putting together a historical record that is fascinating and fun. Just go and be wowed.

A must see for anyone interested in the Pilgrims' lives and experiences.
The new tapestry is amazing.

This museum exceeded my expectations. Lots of interesting artifacts, the videos were particularly good, and the building itself is cool. The gift shop has the best offering of books on the Pilgrims that I have seen. Well worth a visit.

Interesting but if history but not a lot of stuff to see unfortunately. Took my son who is in cancer treatment to see as in old family documents we found records stating the great granddaughter of William Bradford moved to Vt with our past relatives. Mentioned it to lady in charge (who runs gift shop as well) She took absolute joy with trekking me that there were many William Bradford's in the area and that it was unlikely that it was this one and went on. I told her it was family lore and i seriously never delved into it much but her giddy joy at squashing the notion and condescending way of doing it was off-putting to say the least. Next i Mentone a chair an elderly lady willed to me saying her husband bought it at my great grandfather's farm and it supposedly was brought over on mayflower and she wanted it to go back to family. She giddily told me that many people mistook furniture made here for older furniture. She seemed to delight in debunking people instead of giving into where they might verify or just sharing their joy at connection with the place instead of trying to put them in whatever place she feels she was putting them. Now maybe tourist time of year keeps that place flush with$ but if not a more friendly host would benefit. Even if she was correct there was no need to go about it in such a thoughtless manner. Very disappointing.

Locked the door early and wouldn't come unlock to allow me to tour the museum even though I stood at the door for over 5 minutes waiting. Waste of a trip.

What started out as a nice day in Plymouth went downhill fast. We went to the Plymouth Hall Museum. When Jon (retired Colonel) asked if he could get a military discount, she said "We don't give military discounts." When he asked why, she said, "Because everyone here is a veteran." Wow!!! We walked out and will never go back. I should have asked her what branch she served in. I think we all know the answer.

I'm 6 months pregnant, it's 90 degrees out and the older woman at the front desk felt it necessary to make my husband leave our cinch bag at the front desk (while every other couple or older person in the museum walked around with large bags and backpacks. Thankfully the museum was nothing too spectacular and I was able to have my water back after about 35 minutes.

Great little museum. The hall of paintings is fabulous! More fashion from the time of the pilgrims would be great. Amazing tapestry on display!

Really well done museum. Tells the story about the first pilgrims that no history books tell you about growing up. The exhibits were very well done and had a surprisingly large amount of age appropriate artifacts. The videos at the beginning of the museum are a great intro into explaining where the pilgrims came from, why they came, the timeline of their journey and their interaction with the native Americans (along with all of the common misconceptions associated with all of those topics). The museum itself isn't massive but is appropriately sized for the content available. I'm not sure if the place had its own parking but we parked on the street. Price wise it was a good deal ($35 family pass for 5 adults).

Interesting, informative museum. The building itself is fascinating, dating in the oldest parts to 1830. Video featuring both European settler and Native women's experiences is very well done. Appreciate the attention to Native information for more balanced history. Portrait gallery stunning in scale.

I’ve long known the story of the Mayflower and Plymouth, but it was a whole new experience seeing artifacts from that time, and hearing the stories in more depth than school summaries I was taught. Wonderful exhibits at the Pilgrim Museum, and if you go to the museum before you visit Mayflower II and Plymouth Rock, you’ll better appreciate what you are seeing.
