My experience here could not have been better. 2 young guys working and let me tell you when I say how helpful and knowledgeable they were!!! Amazing.I went in not knowing what I needed just that I needed/wanted a good supportive sneakers for walking. Something that would help my back and hip pain.This young man took so much time with me asking me questions, seeing how I walk, ect….He then brought me 3 different brands to try and explain each one to me.Such a great experience.

My husband and I visited Marathon Sports and Kathy helped us. I originally went in to get a new pair of sneakers to help with my back issues. Kathy went above and beyond to help me, she listened to all my concerns and answered all questions I had. She did a gate analysis and had a machine to show me the pressure points in my feet and how I roll my ankles. She brought up 3-5 different pairs of shoes in multiple sizes and suggested different inserts for the shoes and had me try them all on and analyzed each shoe and made suggestions. While helping me she also suggested inserts for my husbands boots and he can tell a different immediately. I ended up getting a pair of sneakers with soles that I needed. I would highly recommend marathon sports and Kathy specifically!

Terrible experience and will not be returning to any marathon sports. Kathy is a nightmare to even be around. I felt terrible for the younger man employee, steam rolling him and making everyone involved SO uncomfortable. I couldn't leave fast enough. The worst part is as I read other reviews she's been a problem for years. Sad to lose customers for a terrible employee but it seems marathon sports values Kathy more over the customers and making a profit. When I walked in as j was speaking to young male employee I had swallowed my water the wrong way and I was choking/ coughing and her voice comes from the back and says "NOBODY IS SICK IN HERE ARE THEY?" Wow what a greeting. I said no, choking on my water thank you. What a warm welcome into the store. The young employee listened to my needs ( I was referred by a podiatrist who told me exactly why type of shoe I needed) when those shoes weren't in stock Kathy went into attack mode telling me I needed to try this other pair, when the other employee spoke up and said that's not the type of shoe she's referred here for, well that just set her off. She would NOT give it up. Would not let me leave. Harassing the other employee well they aren't fitting becuase "she needs a wide!!! DID YOU TRY A WIDE!??" I ran out of there so fast, will never return. I can't imagine the other employee will last much longer putting up with her.

Great service all around, I went in after doing some reading into shoes that are good for knee pain. After measuring my feet on the machine Mike came back with the shoes I was interested in and two other pairs. One of the pairs he selected that I hadn't heard of was the most comfortable thing I ever put on my feet.The woman there was also very nice, she apologized because I had to wait about 2 minutes to check out because there was another customer who got there before me, it wasn't a long wait.

Stopped in to exchange sizes today because I wasn't sure and the man who helped me was super awesome even when I eventually decided to keep the ones I already bought. Amazing customer service and super knowledgeable staff-tysm!!

I stopped in to see what Hoka’s were available, knowing they were good for flat feet like mine. Upon walking in the entire staff was super friendly; Kathy made my day by going into great detail about what I needed for my feet, why, and what I didn’t need. It made all the difference instead of buying a random pair. So glad I shopped here, could support a more “local” shop and will gladly be back in the future!!

I tried to return 2 pairs of sneakers that didn't work for me. The lady I believe to be the manager greeted me. I told her the sneakers were worn for less than 30 days and caused so much knee pain that it was swollen. I told her I had never had any knee pain ever in my life. She asked if I wore compression socks or was under medical care for my knees. I told her NO the sneakers caused it. She then said she had to inspect the sneakers to see if worn. Really?? I just told her they were and that I wanted them replaced. So she looks at them and says, "we can't give you your money back they are worn!" She asked if I wanted the same ones replaced!!! Why would I want the same ones? By now, I'm tired of her third-degree hassle. Another sales associate helps after I ask to see other brands to try . I am then told a pair I like doesn't come in wide. Both pairs I tried to return were wide. Why did he bring me them??? I don't know. He said I could try men's, they might be wider, but they didn't have my size.I told him I was going to Norwell. I took my sneakers and left.I walked in Norwell, and in less than 15 minutes later, I had my sneakers that DO come in wide and another pair I love. Easy no hassle return .I do NOT recommend Plymouth location. Go to Norwell!

Good selection but the Kathy has a pretty serious attitide problem. She is argumentative and rude, and seems to be a bit emotionally unstable. If you enjoy being verbally abused and mocked while trying to buy shoes, then this is the place. I'm not sure how she keeps her job as I see now that I'm not the only person who has had issues with her.

Im so happy I decided to check out marathon sports! Decklin really took the time to find me the perfect fit, size and color. He had so much knowledge of the different shoes and applied it to my specific needs. The other lady there was helpful too! Im happy with my purchase and will always go back for my future shoes! 100% recommend this store! Thank you so much!!
