This Target in Plainville is nice with its selection and decently clean, however, the only checkout lines open were for self checkout, which I avoid. I asked whom, I assume was the shift manager, if there were any registers open and she rudely pointed to the self checkout. The registers were not open because of "not enough staff ". Poor excuse when there are a ton of staff on their cellphones. The work ethic at this store is awful.

I recently was trying to get a price on paper towels at this store because it is never posted. I went to 3 scanning machines not one of them worked and there was not one clerk to ask to check the price for me. This is not the first time this has happened. Target needs to provide better customer service.

Nothing like being hassled for cell phone usage when you tell them politely no all set and then they tell you
“what you don’t like me”
“Why”
“What did I do”
And then as I walk away, he calls me rude because I don’t want to be hassled. Seems like target is just becoming like Walmart with third-party vendors bothering you as you’re just trying to shop harassment.

Target is my go to store, always have a good experience with their team members. I do a mix of in person shopping and drive up pickups from ordering online, always appreciate the efficiency of their processes, makes it a better experience overall.

A few weeks ago I slipped on some water in the paper towel aisle. It took me a while to get myself up and no one was around. I was able to limp around the corner and tell an employee what had happened. Several employees came over and an employee was sent to clean up the water on the floor. I asked to file a report and was told someone would review the store video and would get back to me. I received a swollen knee with black and blues onboth legs.No one has even called me about this incident.

I had the unpleasant experience of being followed around by an older woman (seemed Hispanic or middle eastern) in the makeup department. Was looking for something for my daughter and she kept coming asking if I’m going to purchase anything I politely told her I’m still looking and didn’t need any help. A different employee came over and asked if I needed anything and once again I said no and that someone else had asked me already. This employee proceeded to say “she always makes us follow customers she’s very rude” I laughed and just walked out. This store is a disaster. Making employees uncomfortable and unsafe by tracking people down. Clearly she seems like a manager. She was just standing doing nothing while everyone else was working. Won’t come back to this store.

Beware when you go to self check out and the older woman with the short brown hair is working. I don't know if it's because of my appearance, my tattoos or what but I don't know why every time I go to self check out somebody is up my butt literally watching me. I'll still have items in my car and she'll be like oh you know you have two more of those to scan. Yes ma'am, I know like she's literally watching only me and there's a whole thing full of people at Cell check out that there things are going off saying they need assistance and she's focusing in on me and this is not only happening at this store. It's sad it really is. I'm a stay at home mom who does Instacart when I can God forbid I go out and go shopping. Can't even do that in peace anymore because everybody likes the stereotype people and clump them in to category because of their parents which is not acceptable. I already told the woman I hope her attitude changes for the new year because honestly working in self check out and acting that way is not a good look. It's embarrassing coming from a stay at home Mother it's embarrassing as hell sitting here having somebody watch you like you're child reminding you that you have things to scan when they're still in your car, what the hell kind of bullshit is that? and like I said, there will be all the other registers filled with people and she zeros in on just me once I have a name I'll let you guys know but as of right now, this woman and honestly a couple other workers that work there are very ignorant. There's a lot of workers that work there that are very nice and very helpful but mostly the ones that work in self check out are just ignorant and rude and I think it may be because they're overworked or because they're just rude whatever it is, I want nothing to do with it because it's not my fault you're having a bad day so don't take it out on me again I hope this business changes whatever they issues they have going on for the new year because I will not longer be spending money here if that's the case, why would I want to go shop at a place that's up my ass when I'm doing absolutely nothing wrong. Fuck out of here If you could get zero stars, I would.
