I was on my way to Providence RI when my car broke down on Rte 95. I googled to see the closet repair shop and Plainville Automotive came up with great reviews. I called Tripple A and had them tow my car there. Z who is the owner, was extremely busy with his other customers, and actually backed up because they are so good. I explained that I live over 1.5 hours away and I am stuck and have nowhere to go. He ended up fixing my car right away and charged me a VERY, VERY fair price. I would definitely recommend Plainville Auto Repair to everyone. Hell, I might as well drive the 1.5 hour for his services.

I mostly go for inspections where they are always quick and one time I had an issue with passing inspection since I replaced the battery and the computer had not reset. All I had to do was drive around for a bit and when I returned for reinspection he checked first (unofficially) to make sure it would pass before completing the official inspection. Another time I went I had recently bought a used car where the tires were junked so I failed inspection which I should have so I know they do inspections right and by the book which I think is how it should be done to help ensure cars are safe out on the road. Definitely would recommend this shop.

justin and rich are awsome they wont just put ur car on lift they test drive it to get idea then put it on lift and find the problem they do great work and a fair price .

Whenever I have an emergency whether my tires keep losing air or my headlight happens to go out I can rely on Plainville Auto to complete the job immediately. This is also always completed the day of within the span of half an hour or less. I don't know what my vehicle or would do without this establishment. Ziad is awesome! I went into this place with jaded eyes and no hope for the morrow or a mechanic’s honesty. But this guy is better than legit, he’s super thoughtful & considerate. Excellent professionalism, explained everything clearly in a straightforward way & helped us out with a ride so I wouldn’t have to wheel down the road in a wheelchair. ? Very lovely fellow & fabulous service all around. He solved a problem with my car for $60 that the dealer charged me a few hundred to not figure out.
