Been regularly going there since they do carry whatever I can't find at the big dealers, and the sons are the most helpful and kindest dudes you will ever meet. “I had come from NY to install water Purification system @ my friends house. It needs special fittings , HD / Lowes didn't hve or they were helpful. But this store owner was relentless in sloving my problem ,,he not only made several suggestions which prompted me to take a different route , which resulted in successfull installationI strongly ? recommend to all the Mansfield or near by town residents ., to shop & this store . “Meant to write this a while ago. I love Daddario. Great local mom and pop hardware store. It's the perfect place to quickly grab a few things for your household needs. The customer service is amazing, they always ask to help you find something immediately when you walk in, which makes it a very quick stop. I don't think I have ever spent more than 2-3 minutes in the store. Always incredibly friendly, prices are fair, and they are always super nice to my son (they gave him candy last time which made his day and now he wants to go back all the time haha)”

“As always Aubuchon Hardware in Franklin had exactly what I needed. A snowstorm was forecast and I needed new quality snow shovels. A good selection was readily available. The store staff are always friendly and most helpful. A well run business which is a credit to the store manager. Once again I leave Aubuchon Hardware very satisfied!”
“This place is great. The prices are consistently lower than Homedepot and they offer much more selection. You can get just about any PVC trim here and all the correct fasteners. A&R sells many high quality items that are not available at the box stores and they have the knowledge to guide you towards the correct products for your job. I have bought everything from Unilock pavers, wire mesh for concrete, rebar, stain grade interior window casing, cedar clapboard siding without finger joints, stainless nails, Schlage door knobs, granite mailbox post and property markers, charcoal metal siding I used on my ceiling in my garage, grass seed , wood pellets for my pellet stove etc. A&R can get many species of wood and rough sawn wood. I have also bought railroad ties and landscape timbers to hold crane parts off the ground for long periods. I cannot think of another place to buy railroad ties. I am looking forward to coming here many years to come for all my future projects!”

“This is a REAL hardware store, where the staff can answer your questions authoritatively and almost all the time, the item you need is somewhere on the shelves. Above and beyond all this, their prices rival those of Home Depot and/or Lowe's. Can you truly ask for anything more from an establishment?”
“Woooow, this is an arboreal maintenance candy AND toy store! I decided I wanted to stop in to pick up a replacement chainsaw bar and chain as I backed over my last one with my garden tractor, anyhow. So, I go looking online for a replacement. An Oregon is the OEM bar that my ~15 year old Craftsman electric chainsaw had. Luckily there’s a replacement and a certified local official retailer to acquire it from! So I get on the phone and the customer service representative made me worried about the educational standards for the folk outside of New England. I just wanted to have the bar shipped to the store for pickup so Id have a reason to visit and see what kind of equipment they have for me to needlessly lust after. They did not understand how shipping works for some reason and got upset with me. Anyhow it came I picked it up. There’s more to the story but I’ve got to go hang with my family. They all just woke up. Stay pruned for the next chapter.”

“I haven't had a bad experience at this store, but I docked it a star just for the parking lot. It's horrible, always a traffic nightmare and there really isn't much parking in front of the store. Trying to cross the main "road" in front of the store is taking your life in your own hands. The Brockton and Braintree locations are better in that regard. I wouldn't trust Harbor Freight merch for life-safety, i.e. jackstands (they had a recall in the past) or a safety harness, go with a reputable brand name for that stuff. This place shines for tools that you're going to use once a year or for a one-off job. My 5 year old Chicago saw is still alive and kicking and has seen plenty of use though, so you never know how it'll work out.”

“My husband and I have been shopping at Chace Building Supply for nearly 30 years, and we always have a positive experience. Mark has worked with us on several projects. He is very friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. Over the past couple of years, we have been renovating a multi-family home in Dorchester, and Mark has been especially helpful in working with our contractor on quotes, making product recommendations and setting up delivery to Boston at a very reasonable cost. When we needed to order replacement windows and sliding glass doors, Mark referred us to his colleague, Tom, who specializes in these products. Tom quickly got back to us with a quote, placed our order and set-up delivery. When one of the door handles arrived damaged from the factory, he immediately ordered a replacement from the manufacturer. “Ace Hardware is smaller than your big box stores but offers a similar experience. It's your local Hometown Store with knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service. They were able to answer all my questions, and they're even able to replace a broken glass pane with plexiglass. Lowe's and Home Depot don't offer that type of service. Brand names like Stanley, Craftsman, and Milwaukee.”

“I'm writing this review specifically to give kudos to Derek Rock who delivered a huge load of lumber to my house. Derek was put in a tough situation where the driveway where the delivery could be placed was needed for a dumpster instead. There were not many places to put the load for a small house on a small street. He was able to suggest out of the box ideas and was able to expertly and quickly place all the huge pallets that took up nearly every foot of available space on the front of my property. He was very careful to cause as little damage to our lawn and bushes as possible. I am very grateful for Derek and the care he treated my property as if it were his own. Thanks so much!”

“This Home Depot is right off the highway, very easy to get in/out. The parking lot is large.We went to check for some seeds since my husband has a vegetable garden and some of the plants and vegetable need to be planted indoors before moving them to the outdoor garden.Lots of nice choices of vegetables, herbs and plants.The garden center is a place where you can get grass, flowers, herbs, seeds, fertilizer, pots, etc. One thing that we like to get at the garden center are indoor plants which help to purify the air. Some indoor house plants are better for air purifying than other indoor plants, the staff here is very good about giving you recommendations. Snake plants have spiky, glossy leaves that extend into the air. They make great indoor plants since they soak up lots of sunshine and don't need a lot of watering. The store also carries fiddle leaf figs, which feature large, wavy leaves.We have also gotten succulent plants here, which are a great choice for people who don't want to spend a lot of time caring for their indoor plants. Nice friendly staff.”

I was in need of screws for assembling a table but had no idea what I was looking for. Steve Quinn in the hardware section went above and beyond to help me figure the situation out.
