We needed to empty 3 rooms for new carpeting. As the carpet installation date approached, we realized that our plan of jamming all of the furniture into the remaining uncarpeted rooms was not going to work; it just wouldn't all fit.

I called Greylock Storage and spoke to Jeanna. I explained the situation and that if they had a storage container for us, we could use it as soon as possible. She said that she would check things out and call us back. Within short order, Jeanna called to say that they DID have a container for us AND could get it to us that afternoon if we wanted!!

Edward delivered the storage container and was very accommodating, making sure that he put the container exactly where I wanted it. He put down heavy boards to protect our pavement from the wheels of the container. I was very impressed at how accurately he placed the container. He showed me about operating the door of the container and highly recommended a lock for it, which I already had ready for that use.

We only needed the container for a few days. Empty the rooms to be carpeted into it, have the carpeting installed, put the stuff from the container back into the house, be glad to have new carpeting and that the moving was done. It's not so much moving the furniture but all the other stuff.

As expected, we only needed the container for a week or so. I called Greylock Storage again when we had the container empty, saying that we had it cleaned out and were ready for them to pick it up whenever they could. Edward came the next day to pick up the container and worked with the same efficiency to pick it up as he did to deliver it.

Jeanna and Edward and all the good people at Greylock Storage were absolutely fantastic and definitely saved the day by getting us a container and doing it so quickly so that having it to load our stuff into made our lives SO much easier.”

Bryan was very communicative when figuring out the logistics and made it easy for me to know what I needed to do to help make it work. His price was better than I thought, and significantly cheaper than me trying to rent a machine to move them myself. Once we set them, it turned out my gravel pad wasn't as level as I thought. Bryan voluntarily came back less than two hours later with a big jack, and helped me level them out.
