“I have had starwood veterinary,Dr. Baran come to my home to help with my dog aggressive 75 pound pitbull named Nitro for several years, I am so glad and thankful I found this vet, he is kind, attentive, understanding, and he is also not afraid to work with a pitbull that can get snappy during yearly immunizations, During the pandemic Nitro was sick, and the Dr, was out on medical, but he called me, and he helped troubleshoot via phone call about my dogs belly, etc, next steps........ The Doc was correct, my dog ate a bone and had a piece of bone stuck in his belly, This past tuesday I had to put down my beloved Nitro, Dr, B came to the house, and helped get Nitro peacefully to rainbow heaven. Nitro called Dr Banan, "the wormy doctor", because Dr B, prescribed the yearly heart worm pills. 5-star the best vet I have ever worked with. I am 54, and have never been without a dog more than 4 days, lol I had Nitro for 15 years, and the pup before him, Shena also lived 15 years. So in 30 years, 2 dogs, and I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. B, in the near future, when I adopt another pup. this time will need to be a smaller pup, I am getting older now, and need to consider logistics of the bigger pups, so next I need a pup under 50 pounds. But 5 star plus plus for Starwood Veterinary out of Groton, MA, Nitro loved his "Doctor Wormy". UPDATE: I adopted a 40 pound terrier mix, and Dr. B came to the house to perform Peppas first round of immunizations, he is very patient, understanding, caring, and fantastic. I have recommended Starwood vet to many neighbors, and now a bunch of my neighbors and their pets have Dr. B,”

She has dealt with everything, from international travel documents - that were prepared and just needed my signature - to a thorough investigation of health issues. Micayla, the technician, demonstrates immense compassion towards animals and is clear and informative. “I moved to the area a little over a year ago and have had the hardest time finding a vet for my pets that was kind, understanding, and affordable. Littleton Animal Hospital was all of that and more! My dog was having a minor medical concern that I wanted to have checked as soon as possible, and they were able to get us in as new patients in a little over a week. Dr. Brooks and the rest of the staff were so kind and listened to all of my concerns. They made my dog feel so comfortable and she had such an amazing time. Their services were very reasonably priced, and the facility was clean and beautiful. I will definitely be making appointments for my other pets to establish care. I am so relieved to have found a great vet for my pets!”

“I love the drs and nurses at Clark's. However, one visit for my cat to see why he is biting cost me $446.00 , which is just ridiculous. Why are they so expensive? It's certainly enough for me to put off any more visits. I love Clark's but I hate the prices. My cat wasn't even there for an hour.”

I have used this emergency that on several occasions and without fail they are caring, compassionate and well-trained along with just being great humans to all other humans and animals. “Years ago, we moved to the area & before we could get into our new vet's clinic our Oakley developed kennel cough. No one could see him on short notice without him being a patient, but Banfield did! We have since used our local vet clinic for the past 4 years, but their prices have been steadily increasing. Oakley needed a dental cleaning & a few bad teeth addressed. Our old vet quoted us over $3,000! I called a dozen vets in a 45 min radius looking for a second opinion. A few couldn't give quotes over the phone without seeing him, understandably so. Banfield was so kind! They spent easily over 15 minutes on the line with me & gave me ballpark estimates as well as told me about their wellness plan that includes yearly dentals! She got me on the schedule for a consult within a week. We hadn't done a dental cleaning up until now because of how expensive they are. We added up our regular yearly costs at our old vet clinic and compared them to the active care plus plan and it was a no brainer to switch. Every one from the receptionists to the vet techs were so kind and compassionate. He had his dental setup within a week! We paid a fraction of the cost our old vet would have charged us without compromising care. They assured me he would be monitored the same as a human going under anesthesia and had not one but two techs assisting the doctor. Dr. Ridel treated him as if he was one of her own. She called me 3x the day of (before, during, and after surgery) to update me how he was doing, explain her findings & recommendations every step of they way. She kept me in the driver's seat for decision making and was transparent with costs and risks/benefits for every intervention. I could not have asked for a better experience! We are switching our other pup over to the OWP & we have already recommended them to several peers as well. Thank you for providing such passionate excellent care at an affordable price!”

“I am an actual client of Harvard Family Pet Clinic and have been for 2 years. I can say that the misinformation being posted about Dr. Koretsky couldn’t be farther from the truth, and that the people leaving negative comments have not ever been to this clinic, nor do they even live in the same state.

I came on here to share my input as Dr. K is not only my veterinarian but she has become my friend in the 2 years that I have been her client, and it is hurtful to see people spreading lies about her and her business. Dr. Koretsky is an advocate for all animals, including service animals being used correctly. Since leaving my original review (below), I have adopted a second kitten and continue to go to Harvard Family Pet. In the years that I have known her, she has been nothing but a fantastic veterinarian, and I would not go anywhere else. The comments from my original review remain, and I also want to add that Dr. K takes the time on her days off to help me when I need assistance or have questions. I don’t know of anyone who has a veterinarian that they can contact on a day off and/or over the weekend, and get a fast response. I would give her 100/5 stars if I could!! She has done countless things outside of her normal business hours to ensure my pets are receiving the best care, and that is the type of person she actually is. I hope that anyone reading negative comments about the clinic will not let that deter them from choosing this clinic for their pets, and will listen to an actual client. My pets are literally my children and I would not trust anyone else with them. My cats are both healthy and thriving.

I adopted my first kitten almost a year and a half ago, and chose this pet clinic because I was looking for a smaller practice. As a first-time cat mom, I had a million questions at the beginning, and still continue to have ongoing questions about the best way to care for my cat. He is my baby, and I always want to make sure I am doing the very best for him. Dr. K and Kayla have always been super helpful and patient with me. They always take the time to explain anything and everything to me, whether it is in-person, via email, or over the phone. I am experiencing a lot of things for the first time, so I like that they don't make me feel silly for asking questions, and are always available to make recommendations. I never feel rushed during appointments, as they take the necessary time to provide care and make sure any questions are explained. A few months back, I had an emergency with my cat and they were available to answer my questions after-hours, got me scheduled first thing the following morning, provided an emergency room referral, followed-up with the emergency vet, and handled my pet insurance claim (immediately). I am very happy with this pet clinic, and I feel that I would not get the same level of care at a larger facility. They are very prompt with getting back to me whenever needed, flexible with scheduling appointments, and have very fair prices. I trust them completely with the care for my baby, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!”

“I like this Animal Hospital as I think Dr. John Bednarz is outstanding. However, I do not trust Dr. Shannon as she disputes his recommendations. I am still waiting for my Sentinel to be approved for Annie Reed and nothing yet. He ordered Credelio and she disputed it. The emergency vet area is good as long as good docs on duty. Get Dr. Williams back. Excellent too and very compassionate.”
