After tiring of the cold, sterile environments of other vet clinics, I went and found PVMC. From the moment you walk into the converted barn and see it's open, country-like feel, you know you've entered a true country vet experience. My dogs Sadie and Watson both get amazing care from Dr. Nina Stebbins as well as several of my friends' dogs that I've referred here. Highly recommend.

I brought my anxious gsd here, and the tech who took her from me to go to another area for her exam was so scared to handle her (all she was doing was trying to get back to me and whimpering) that she choked the leash up, lifted her front paws off the ground by her collar, and dragged her by her neck. At face value, that's abuse, and on top of that, she's 80lbs. That's 80lbs of weight on her trachea. I was absolutely horrified and took the leash back from her, and said I'll bring her to the exam room myself. Once she was in the room, I left for the exam (I regret this and have tremendous guilt about it), and when I came back there were tufts of my dog's fur absolutely covering the exam room floor. My dog looked absolutely traumatized. We obviously never went back. Horrible experience, I no longer trust vets. Please go elsewhere.

Have been going here for a couple years now, since Dr.Stebbins has taken over for Dr.John we are still very pleased with the service we get. Her and all of the staff go above and beyond to cater to us and our reactive dog. From them making special appointments so we don’t need to be in the waiting room with other animals, the staff asking us how our pups doing when we go in simply to get his script, and calling us to check in and make sure everything’s going okay. We travel 30min one way because we’ve never had the care they show us at local vets. I hope Dr.Stebbins and her staff continue to thrive and help people like ourselves. Truly some amazing people who work here. Marley thanks you guys too!??

Very nice to my pets and did a great job. However, I think the staff assumed I was there to help out and not the actual customer.

I absolutely love Dr. Lindermuth and all of his staff. I can't recommend them enough, anytime someone's looking for a vet I always tell them to go here. They truly care about animals and will not rack up your bill with unnecessary charges/procedures like other places I've gone in the past. Would give them six stars if I could!!

Every time I go to Preventive Veterinary Medicine and see Dr. John and his staff I am so thankful that I found them. They are all compassionate and kind people....Dr. John first took care of my horses 35 yrs ago. I reconnected 3 years ago. SO Very thankful for their care of my pets...

My pups and I have been seeing Dr. John for close to 20 years. Two dogs over the years have received the best care from Dr. John and his staff. John has taught me to go with the flow as best I can...he is the best!

Great place to bring chill pets and I think livestock (they have them on the premises so I'm assuming). Clean premiss, well organized, and friendly staff. They took very good care of my GSD, and I recommend them over other vets in the area. Only took one star off because they really prefer on filling prescriptions through their own pharmacy, even for flea/tick/heartworm preventatives, because they can make guarantees on the products in case your pet has any reactions.
