Car got rejected for emissions reasons. Went and fixed the issue and the guy fails me for a piece of plastic missing front seat bench seatbelt. The courteous and honest thing to do would be to let me know from the first rejection that the car still had a safety issue. I honestly think they did this on purpose to screw with me and ruin my day. So now I can't go elsewhere where they may pass it cause you out it on record? Clever. Owners name is what, Bill? I will be sure to sing your praises wherever I go in town. Thanks again!

The service is fine. I got an inspection. I've made arrangements twice to get a copy of the report as I needed it for something. Each time I've gone according to the published hours on the website and both times, the inspector wasn't there.

We brought my wife's car in multiple times for various repairs and services My wife loved Scotte because he was friendly and appeared very professional. My wife said she liked that he didn't talk down to her. In fact, despite the repair issues I was seeing it was hard to convince my wife to look elsewhere. In summary, they replaced a transmission sensor, and that repair seems to be good to date. The things I take issue with are : 1. They never rotated the tire when we brought it in for regular maintenance. By the time I noticed, the fronts were too far gone and in my opinion, caused a premature tire replacement to the tune of $1000.00. If the maintenance was performed correctly I think I would have gotten another 25- 20 thousand miles out of them. 2. We sent the vehicle in for pulsating brakes multiple times and the technician was unable to diagnose and locate the bad brake rotor. Another mechanic located the defective rotor in under 10 minutes. 3. I sent the vehicle in for a 100K service. The service manual clearly states to check the battery capacity and function at every service. One week and one day later my kids got stuck with a dead car battery in a parking lot in Nashua. My wife's cousin drove from Athol to Nashua to jump-start them. My wife and I were out of town.I looked at the battery when I got home. The terminals were caked in green battery acid cake that was clearly visible to the week and one day earlier. In fact, they changed the air filter located directly behind the green battery terminals. I would have gladly paid for a battery if they had noticed. The whole point of a 100 K checkup is to locate and correct problems that are common as the car ages.4.. We sent the vehicle in for a noisy water pump which they happily replaced for $850.00 ish dollars. The price was fair. I understand it's labor intensive that's what the job costs, I know I didn't want to do it. My problem is 1 1/2 years later I started seeing anti-freeze on the garage floor. I took the vehicle to another mechanic who found the bottom bolt to the water pump was missing. It's impossible to say if it was ever put in or if the bolt was torqued down and lock tighted but enough is enough.Based on my multiple experiences I would avoid the place.

Convenient location and comfortable waiting space, especially while waiting for a state inspection on a rainy day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is outdoor space to wait on the nicer days. The shop bays were clean and busy and while I was only there for inspection, I suspect they do great work. Looking forward to my next visit!
