But most of all they have integrity, I recently had a failed engine that I brought to them multiple thousands worth of repairs, they took a look at it and called to tell me about a special recall that applied, told me take it to the dealership and I did and they were right and I got it fixed free of charge. “I had been having problems with my car for months. 3 warning lights would come on when I was driving. I took my car to my usual mechanic and they repaired what they thought was the problem, however, it did not repair the problem.I brought it back and they tried something else, but the warning lights persisted. I then thought a fresh set of eyes might solve the problem, so I brought my car to a garage near my office and they tried their fix, but it did not work. I was told that if their first fix did not work, the problem may need a costly repair. I was talking to a neighbor and relay my concerns about whether anyone could fix the problem and he suggested Ted's Tranmissions and General RepairI dropped my car off and within an hour they diagnosised the problem. They recommended I bring it to Sullivan Tire for an alignment. None of the other shops had suggested an alignment, so I figured at this point what did I have to lose.I got the alignment and I am now light free!I would recommend Ted's to anyone who is having getting answers for a problem with their car. They are wonder diagnosticians and I am sure they would be great at repairs, it they could have repaired my car.”

“My family has been using Abington Automatic Transmissions since I was in diapers. They fixed my very old 2003 Ford Windstar, it needed new transmission lines. They got the job done in less than 2 full days and the price was almost priceless. They are a family owned business and they take pride in their work and professionalism. They are great cause they are not ripping you off like a dealer would. Reasonable prices, great mechanics, and the receptionist Nancy (i hope i remembered her name. She is so pleasent to talk to) is very helpful and actually knows a lot about car issues and she makes you feel that your car is going to be taken care of as if the mechanics were working on their own cars. “The location has become a "Nouria" Gas station, so I am unsure if they still take the "Gulf" gift cards/credit cards. However, the price of gas at this location is usually 15-20 cents cheaper than most places in the area.Also, when I went the attendant was EXTREMELY POLITE! I have no idea what her name was but she told me about the Nouria app on my phone to start saving 5 cents at the pump right away. Also, after I had pumped my gas and was walking in for my leftover change, she had it already out of the cash drawer and waited to put it in my hand.Thank you for the efficiency & wonderful service!”
