They don't stock 10 foot lumber. I'm happy about the new change to koopman but they should honer price per foot if they don't stock correct board or all others are warped

Used their Azek for my porch. Great people and service. Delivery was reasonable and very fast. Azek decking in stock also. Very happy with results.

People forget the quality that a good old fashioned lumber yard stocks. When I need wood that is straight, dry and competitively priced this is my spot. Great front desk help too. Always smiling and welcoming

I felt it was imperative to write this review, and offset the single 1 star review from 2015, as this lumber vendor was the absolute best to work with. I am an amateur when it comes to carpentry and home renovation, but I have a generalized knowledge of woodworking tools and various basic materials. My goal was to revamp an old porch. I walked nervously in their door, with a picture of the old porch on my iPhone and a few rough measurements scribbled on a piece of paper. Immediately, Kathy and Kate put me at ease, and walked me through my design plans. Along the way, Kate thoughtfully listened to my needs, and carefully recommended different ways I could improve my design, without criticism or judgement. All her ideas proved to be excellent, and I'm so grateful for her advice. Over the course of the next two weeks, I would return many times for extra lumber as my plans evolved. Every time, I was warmly greeted, and immediately and thoughtfully accommodated. I am very grateful to the gentlemen in the back who helped fit many an odd long board in my dad's Camry, and to the one kind employee who, on an especially hot day, offered me a popsicle while I was waiting for something to be cut. Overall, my experience was over and above excellent, and with their help, I managed to build the new porch by myself in only 2 weeks! Their prices are affordable, their store is immaculate, and their customer service was top notch. I can't wait for the next project!

Worked with Don and the gang in the '80's when I had my own construction business and everyone was always super nice and helpful. To this day, if I have a project that needs quality materials, I only use Sampson Lumber.

Worst Customer Service I have ever encountered people just do not want to help and not want your business Only one women here knows what is happening. I latest trip I was told that I did not know what I was talking about when asking for 5/4 Stair Treads. Place is a mess and just not friendly. Last time I will go there and was a customer over 20 years. Waste os time and money is there was a rating less than one star hey would have it.
