The staff at Personal Best go above and beyond for clients, every visit you are greeted in a timely and professional manner. I've been seeing Tamra at PB for years and she is punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable when providing services.

A family member gave my 16 year old son a bad haircut and he was bummed. I called personal best and made a last minute appt hoping any stylist could improve upon the hack job he got at home. He was there for 20 minutes and had his hair fixed/corrected as it was uneven and choppy on both sides. We asked him not to take any more from the top. They charged us $50! I know it’s my own fault for not asking up front. But $50 for a teenage boy haircut which was already cut and just needed a touch up was a total rip off. Like I said it was a 20 min or less appt. This is Pembroke not Newbury Street. We will never go back there now.

I have been going to Kristopher Sommers at Personal Best/Utopia Spa since Covid occurred. My daughter recommended Kris for his hair coloring and cut services. I have been happy with the time that Kris shares with me on discussing my hairstyle. Between my daughter and myself, we have easily used his services over forty times, and always came away as satisfied customers. I would recommend him to anyone who asks me about hairstyling.

I had moved and the water at my new place made my hair uncontrollably stiff and unmanageable. My previous place could not help at all. Even the owner could not help. I happened to drive my Personal Best stopped in and met Maureen. She knew exactly what to do, gave me new products and set up a plan to fix my hair. I feel like my hair is back!! Maureen is personable and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this salon and Maureen!

Kaitlyn is a great Hairstylist /Colorist! I have been going to her for over 10 years. She provides honest advice and ideas when I want to try a new style or color. The environment is very clean and welcoming. The staff always friendly. Highly recommend

Utopia Place in Pembroke is wonderful. I get my hair done and my waxing. I have had great results with both. People are very friendly and make you feel so warm and comfy. I highly recommend trying them!

Valerie is the best! I’ve been working with her to get my hair back on track after some previous issues with my last hair stylist and she’s been killing it! Her Attention to detail is amazing and I always leave feeling 10x better! Her latest work included some low lights and a trim!

Absolutely love! I see Joelle at House of Correction and she is so kind and informative I was totally at ease and comfortable. I tell everyone to go see her for laser hair removal I can’t recommend highly enough!!

If it was possible to give zero stars I would! I went in for a full foil on Dec 28th. Sue Lawlor did a HORRIBLE job on my hair! I told her the chemicals were burning my scalp and she didn't believe me!! She said she's been a hair stylist for 20 years but clearly, she has no concept of customer service or what she was doing! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY WITH SUE LAWLOR!!

Chuck is always so pleasant and listens to any hair issues. He has got to know my quirky hair (cowlick etc.) and cuts accordingly. Prices are very reasonable.

I have been going to Personal Best for more than 40 years. I have Maureen as my hair stylist and have always been happy with her work. Everyone is friendly and I enjoy being there.
