Very overpriced for an extremely average course

Played here last week. Some of the greens were in very bad shape, fairways were good. Cart path only on the entire course and could not understand why. Fairways were not wet or muddy. Probably would not have played there if we knew when we booked the tee time. Were not told until the ranger spotted me riding across the fairway to my ball.

If I could give zero stars I would. Let’s start with the price - as many have mentioned it’s always cart path only here (for no logical reason besides a middle finger to their customers). My friends and I prefer to walk anyways so we planned on that. Show up for an 6:30am tee time and we’re told they don’t offer a walking rate before 1pm! Must be the only course on earth to do so. So we ended up forced to pay the cart fee just to walk anyways rather than screw around with CPO.
As for the condition, awful. At least half the greens had a large dead spot on or around them, but the best part was the dirt patch in the dead center of the 10th green that’s home to an active hornet’s nest…about 6 paces from where the pin was today. Horrible patchwork greens, unfixed divots all over every fairway (hard to blame people after getting ripped off on price).
About 80% of bunkers had no rake. They still haven’t hung the bell back up since COVID for the blind tee shot on 18 (doesn’t cost a thing!). And best of all, zero water coolers on the course for a 90°+ day.
Given how hard it can be to find a tee time on the south shore it’s hard to say I want a course to close, but I’ll make an exception. I’ve heard they’re building condos over this dump and they can’t come soon enough. Good riddance, this place can rot in hell.

Great original layout. Will be on the must play list when it comes back into form down the road.

I went to the restaurant that was there. Great food and service! And a beautiful deck that you can eat out upon!

Nice course but $90 for permanent cart path only is too much. Plenty of nicer courses in the area for this price

I will never be coming back to this course after I learn about their cheap and scummy policy. According to a worker at the course it is always “cart path only” and is this way to save money. The fairways take less damage and require less maintenance as a result. For a near premium priced course this is totally unacceptable, this is intentionally deceptive.
Jeremy Roenick, you own a golf course stop cutting corners to take advantage of the patrons. I have enough respect to fix divots and repair marks on the green, it’s about time that you start respecting the people who pay to play here. We played a very normal pace of play and the ranger came up to us several time to tell us to hurry up, this is very difficult to do when it’s Cart Path Only. If you want an improved pace of play then change this insane rule. I was in a group of 8 and we have all decided to not come back to this scammy course.
Course is in fine condition, some of the greens are a little rough. Absolutely not worth the price.

I never write reviews but I feel I needed to write this one after all the negative reviews posted here about PCC. Played 18 on Father's Day and it was in great condition. Fairways were green and rough was challenging. Some areas were a little thin but that is the penalty for being out of the fairway. Greens were fast and rolled great. Putts held their line and made for some interesting attempts. (I missed them all). No complaints about staff and pace of play was normal for a packed Sunday afternoon. If you are looking for more in a public golf course, you are gonna have to pay for it and if that aint enough join a county club. PCC two thumbs up

The course staff here is absolute trash. Called to make a tee time and asked to book it with a Rider so my Wife could attend. First thing out of their mouth was " Well we Frown upon that" Spoke to Ileane if that's how you spell it. Never have I been at a course that has told me they Frown upon it. When I questioned it, she then responded with well were busy. I have never felt more of an inconvenience to a golf course in my life. I will be glad to take my business elsewhere. I play a lot of golf and around many people who play as well, and I will certainly steer as many people as possible away from this place. Also, not worth the price considering the condition this place is in. Golfers go somewhere better than this place!!!!!!!!!

I hate to make a negative post but I feel it’s necessary for the set fixed weekend Rate they charged this week. No range, no bevy cart, a cart path in shambles. The list goes on. Anything off the fairway was a disaster. The greens didn’t allow for any true putts with all the holes in it. Just a shame. I used to like this track. I was hoping for a turn around this year but was let down again. I would have walked but the rate didn’t change which was completely absurd
