I used Michael’s of Boston for my wedding dress alterations and was married on 12/8/23. I can’t say enough nice things about Michael! He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He really goes above and beyond for his clients. He altered my dress which came out perfect, as well as my rehearsal dinner outfit, veil, and I have also gone to him for a few bridesmaid dress alterations. He is very fast and affordable and it is evident he really loves what he does. I will continue to recommend Michael to anyone looking for a tailor, for any and every project and I would absolutely recommend him for your wedding alterations!

Just picked up my mother of the groom dress !! They did an amazing job on alterations and i thought the price was more than fair. The best part of this whole experience was Micheal, amazing services and one of the nicest people i have met in a long time.

Saved the day! My mom called here in a panic 7 days before my wedding after some botched alterations elsewhere. They were able to calm my nerves and fix the dress with little notice. He explained his thoughts and plan and made it happen. Thank you!!

Michael tailored my wedding dress flawlessly! I bought my dress in Oct. 2019 but due to COVID wore my dress for the first time in June 2023. He was accommodating, kind, and helpful in every fitting I attended in the Spring of 2023. He was efficient, completed all tasks with attention to the details well before the final date we needed the dress for. The addition of a lace up panel, and bustling hooks were very easy to work with, my mother and mother-in-law had no issues helping me get into the dress and fitting it perfectly for our event!! Thank-you Michael, you are a true gem!

Word of Mouth brought me to Michael Of Boston to have my Gown hemmed for my Daughter's Wedding. Michael is such a nice Guy!! He does fabulous Work for a very reasonable price. My Dress was Perfect. I brought it in way in advance since I needed it for June & Prom Season was coming too. I don't think I even waited a week. In fact I'm sure it was shorter because I was surprised it was ready. This is DEF the place to go. I have another Wedding coming where another Gown will be needed ...at 5'2" I will always need Michael !

Micheal is my new best friend. He made me feel extremely comfortable, and even made me hair pins from the extra fabric on my dress. The alterations only took two weeks, and ended up being absolutely perfect. Thank you Micheal for the kindness you showed me. I can’t wait to be back. Amazing work!

As many reviewers have said, Michael is terrific and gets my highest recommendation for alterations, especially wedding dresses. Reasonable prices and quality work. Whatever you decide, at least go check him out and talk to him. Totally worth your time.

Michael really IS the best and one of the nicest people I've ever met. He is an expert in bridal alterations and design and works tirelessly to help every customer. He altered my daughter's wedding gown, my MOTB gown, and my other daughter's bridesmaid gown, so we had the pleasure of several visits. Michael is wonderful to talk to and does fantastic work.
