I'm always happy with my haircut when I leave Great Clips, no matter which of the ladies cuts my hair. Never been unsatisfied over several years, and so much less expensive than fancy salons!

I walk in and say I have a coupon for new customer $2 off and a senior $2 off. How would that work? Can I use both? Your all set. Umm what does that mean but ok. My hair was very long and grown out. I point to desired length and asked that the hair be blended to that length with long layers. Stylist asked what about the sides, umm, cut at an angle. Ok. So, to my shock she opens her scissors and starts scissor blade hacking at my hair. Like a razor cut. Who does that without being requested or at least asked. To be polite, I said does Great Clips have a specific way of cutting. Thinking it was their style. Nope. She said it was whatever she wanted. She did not get the hint. So, I tried another approach and said I don't want to ask for my hair to be shorter when you done. Stylist it doesn't matter I am just starting, and I will be blending in .... and she did she cut my hair over and over and at one point she said it will be like a mullet ... WHAT! I ask her a couple of questions and she said (are you ready) that she was not licensed to EDUCATE so she could not answer. I couldn't believe it. Should I leave? My hair was such a mess. More scissor as razor cutting, can you see the frizz. Then she switched to chipping in. I happen to like a little chipping but further up on the strand. So, I asked could you chip closer to the root. CLOSER she said no because then your cutting hair. Yup that's the idea. Apparently, she wasn't educated in the word 'closer' and chipping is not hunks of hair. So, as I explained she spoke over me and said see there is a communication problem because I do not understand her. Sure. Sounds like these issues and excuses are common for this person. Ok one more. I asked her what color would you say my hair is, it faded out after being colored. She said she is not a licensed colorist and won't know. I could not help it I chuckled. I thought she was kidding. I said come on. Maybe she missed colors in early elementary school. O I wanted long layers, halfway through and really thinking of calling it and leaving, I reminded her of the long layers and side. She said we won't know until I'm done and see where it lands. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 1 inch layer to start and maybe 3.5 inches at the bottom ... not long. And less not forget the 1950's bangs .... I didn't walk in with bangs. And didn't ask for bangs. Paying. Blank stare. Got a lot of that. So, I can use both the coupons. Stylist I do not know. Blank stare. What are they, seemingly not recall of what I said when I entered. Or just being ????? So I repeated. More I don't know I have to see them. Ok I'll have to go to my car. Had she asked for them in the beginning instead of saying you're ok, I would have gotten them at that time. We went from blank stare to blank stare and some eye rolling. Throughout the cut she was saying you're ok, all the time. I understand that is an expression but enough is enough and clearly I wasn't ok. Say what you mean. Yup we alternated between 'you're ok' and 'she wasn't an educator' (obviously). Haircut zero because it wasn't what I asked for. And stylist had no intention of listening to what I wanted. Price was right ....

After going to several hair salons in my 50 so years and having curly hair to boot, I never have high expectations. I went to see Andi yesterday at the Church St. location and it was literally the best cut I have ever had. She did exactly what I wanted and copied a photo beautifully. She took her time and didn't rush me out the door. I can't say enough. Andi you have gained a life long client!

I went to great clips today, left me quite disappointed. I brought my son in for a haircut at 4:30 PM, with a whole 30 minutes to spare before their posted closing time of 5 PM. To my surprise, despite there being no other customers in the shop and ample time available, they informed me that they were fully booked and couldn't accommodate us.I decided to wait outside until the closing time of 5 PM, and to my dismay, no other customers arrived during that period. It's disheartening that they not only turned us away but also appeared to have misled us about their availability.Customer service and honesty are crucial aspects of any business, and this experience fell short in both respects. I hope they reconsider their approach to serving customers in the future."

I needed a haircut while travelling. I use Great Clips in my hometown and looked up the closest location. The service was outstanding.

Catherine did an excellent job. I was not expecting my haircut to come out this good. You can tell she’s a perfectionist. (30 y.o male)

By far the best cut I've had in a long time. The employees are always kind, and I'm so glad they know what they're doing with hair - bc I totally don't! I feel great and got a low maintenance cut - who could ask for more.

If I could give negative stars, I would. I went to Pembroke Great Clips to get a simple clipper cut. The stylist refused to cut my hair the way I requested and told me she cut hair her way. When I politely protested that it was my hair and that I wanted it the way I asked, I was rudely told she wouldn't do my cut and that I was rude for asking her to do so. It's a simple clipper cut! She refused to complete my haircut! She passed me over to another stylist. I am elderly and disabled and walk with a walker. When pushing me to another seat, she tossed my walker where I couldn't get to it! Who does that? The second stylist (Andi) did an excellent job. She listened to what I wanted and did it. Even so, I won't be back. I'm not sure I'll even go to Great Clips again. If this is the type of person they allow to serve their customers, they clearly don't care about service.

Went to the Pembroke great clips located in the stop and shop plaza. The woman botched my hair. My hair length was middle of my back when I went in. I asked for a simple trim to get the dead end.she ended cutting 10 inches. Worst haircut I ever got!! she didn't bother parting my hair asking me to look down nothing she was just chopping away! honestly I think she forgot what she was doing and realize she messed up and just kept going. I will not be back and good luck to anyone who does.Service: Haircut
