Showed up at 830 am and all the doors were locked and lights were off even tho they open up at 7. Kinda sucks when you drive all the way somewhere especially a chain store that all have the same operating hours and they’re not open when they’re literally supposed to be

Used to be a great pharmacy for over a year it has consistently been brutal. Can never speak to a live person on the phone. Totally understaffed and when it says your medication is ready for pickup it never is. Time to move on.

I’ve never had a problem with the pharmacy staff. They are always nice and take care of the customers. The pharmacy is extremely understaffed, leading to long wait times, meds aren’t ready even after getting a confirmation text, they aren’t ready even after requesting a refill almost 5 days earlier. We are in the process of changing pharmacies.

I agree that the lines at the pharmacy are long and it takes a bit of time to get to the front of it but I wanted to share the experience I had this week that will help keep me patient when I find myself in long lines.. As I patiently waited in line, I could hear the young man behind the counter taking his time with each of the customers and giving them his full attention and dedication to their questions. When it was my turn, he took the extra steps to find out why my 86-year old father’s inhaler was $493! Ultimately, it’s because insurance wouldn’t cover it but he gave me suggestions and alternatives to get a lower price. So I guess my point here is, his service and especially his kindness was worth the wait. Thank you.

My medication has been out of stock every month for the last year which results in a 3 day delay monthly even though they say it will be in stock in 48 hours. Also no matter how long you wait on hold, they will not, under any circumstances, answer the phone in the pharmacy. This used to be a great CVS but has quickly turner into the worst pharmacy ever.

My son got discharged from a hospital for mental illness and they had the prescription to cvs Pembroke for us to pick up he was on a schedule with these medications which was very important to keep him onIt took over 2 days for them to fill these for him totally unacceptable !He had to add more dosed to catch up and that prescription took another 2 days and you have to wonder why people with mental health issues are having a hard time coping. You would think this would be something Aetna insurance who owns them would be looking into .This CVS and a lot more of them are totally unacceptable to the health care system..

This review is for the pharmacy. In my lifetime, I have used CVS pharmacies all over the United States and I’ve always had good if not exceptional experiences using CVS pharmacies. This one has shockingly poor customer service. I don’t know if the root cause is inadequate staffing or if it’s some thing with their procedures that is different from other locations but I never receive text messages that my prescription is ready for pick up. If anything, I’ll receive a text message that they’re processing my prescription and that they’ll text me when it’s ready but they never do. When I check the CVS app, it says my prescription is being processed infinitely. At this location I’ve even had prescriptions expire that they never filled. It’s like they receive scripts and then they’re put in a drawer and never looked at again. I called this evening around 5:30pm and no one picked up after over 30 minutes so I had to hang up then I called back and was on hold for 46 minutes and still nobody answered.

What is going on with the CVS Pharmacy in Pembroke? I've been waiting 9 days for two prescriptions??? I check thé website and it says in process - what does that mean? Are they waiting for approvals from my doctor??? I tried to call and was on hold for 25 minutes when I finally hung up. I drove up and the drive in window was closed. At the moment I have a mobility problem so couldn't go in. The employees are very nice & seem to be hardworking - this is definitely a systems problem that needs corporate attention because this has been going on all summer.

If only I could give this place a 0! This particular CVS has been understaffed literally for the past year. Only 2 people working tonight with customers lined up before they are closing. Also 2 customers got in a verbal fight because of the stress. Very BAD CVS pharmacy. BAD. ?

I called in to have my prescription filled. The female pharmacist on the phone was very rude from the beginning of the call. She has a very bad attitude and was reluctant to help me; she told me she doesn't have time. I had to stop and ask her if everything was okay given her distasteful attitude.

I understand the pharmacy is doing it's best. From things I've overheard whilst standing in line, one time most of the staff got ill and there was nobody to fill in, and now that it's flu shot season they were not sent a nurse as they normally do to help with administering them. The new way the pharmacy is operating because they are so short-staffed is that you can never get through on the phone, so you must choose a day with free time and drive to the pharmacy, wait in line, ask for your rx, they tell you to wait 15-20min, then you leave, wait, wait in line again, then they hopefully have them ready.I've accepted this is the reality of getting my prescriptions because of the state of things nobody can control. However, as for things people can control, while I was walking through the store to the pharmacy line yesterday three tween to teen girls encircled me and began barking at me. Yes you read that right. When I got up to the pharmacy counter I told the tech, and they simply looked surprised and didnt know what to do. As I was leaving I saw the three girls practically behind the register at the front of the store.Just walked on out.Is it too much to ask to just uneventfully have my prescriptions ready before I arrive and pick them up and go? Please and thank you.

My family has been using this pharmacy for years and never really had a negative experience until the past 6 months or so. We get texts that prescriptions are ready only to find out that they aren’t when we arrive at the pharmacy. It’s happened to me a few times as well as my husband. Today it happened again after calling 3x to get it filled. Notified that rx was ready. Nope. He’s sitting there now waiting for it yo be filled.
