Recently had my BMW X3 serviced, and I must say, the experience was quite positive. My vehicle had been experiencing some issues with the seat belt sensor electronics . I’ve had BMW’s all my life and have taken it from the dealership to local shops with the prices being higher and lower but the experience has always been mid. Here’s how it went:
Service Quality: The technicians were highly knowledgeable and professional. They quickly diagnosed the electronic issue . They also did not try to do any add on service like all the other shops and specially the stealership has done !
Repair Process: The repair process was smooth and efficient. The service center kept me informed throughout, explaining the issues in detail and providing a clear estimate of the costs involved.
Cost: While BMW repairs can be on the pricier side, I found the costs to be affordable and reasonable given the quality of service and the parts used. The total cost for the repairs was within the estimated range provided initially, with no unexpected charges.
Performance Post-Repair: The car feels as good as new (as a used car can be ?) and I am extremely satisfied with the outcome.
Overall Experience: I am very pleased with the repair service for my X3. The professionalism, transparency, and quality of work were top-notch. I would highly recommend North Shore to any BMW owner in need of repairs.

PS: At the same time there was an issue with my hood latch that kept stuck thus the hood latch sensor would go on. They cleaned it up and got it back to normal and did even charge ! The thing is I didn’t even tell them about the issue which means they really do inspect the car !

Aug 2023 - 2006 Mercedes Benz SL500 - I was impressed upon arrival. Everything was orderly and clean.
The staff were friendly, efficient and genuinely interested. They answered all communication quickly. The car was ready when promised. It's been 2.5 weeks since I picked it up and there have been no issues.
Aug 2024 - 2016 BMW X6 - Still impressed with this business. Brought the car in for regular service and asked for them to check an acceleration issue. They quickly diagnosed the problem and gave a detailed explanation of why the problem was happening. I gave the go ahead, and the service was completed a day earlier than expected. I will continue to recommend them to others. I'm very pleased!

I cannot say how much I appreciate everyone at North Shore Motor Werks. I had a horrible experience at the flagship dealership and decided to get a second quote and opinion on my car when the air conditioner wasn’t working. They not only fixed the issue and for much less than the dealer but they were so accommodating and treated me with such professionalism and respect. I will always go here when I or my husband are in need of anything for our cars and cannot recommend them enough!!!! 10 stars!!!!

Great experience with North Shore Motor Werks. I wish I had gone to them sooner, could’ve saved myself hundreds. It was super easy and quick. The loaner was ready and waiting, clean too. And the new tires and alignment only took a couple hours. I was back in my car and home before rush hour. My car rides much smoother now after switching to non run flats. (Dealership tried to tell me I had to get run flats, not true). Great customer service /communication and prices. Skip the dealership mechanics, save money and peace of mind!
