We have always had exceptional care here. They are compassionate and loving toward our dog. We have noticed the prices to have increased quite a bit, so we will request tech appts for small visits, or things like vaccines, rather than seeing the actual doctor. That said, we don't plan on taking our pet anywhere else any time soon.

Today was our first visit, we saw Dr DePiero. we were referred by breed specific rescue for senior dog dental consult. Dr Depiro was extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and took plenty of time with us to talk through various options with a senior dog. Friendly front desk staff and vet tech. easy to find location with plenty of parking. thank you.

They used to offer an excellent service. Not anymore. I took my dog for a sick visit. They charged us $345.00 and send the dog home with noTreatment. Her condition got worse and told me to take my dog to the ER. Doctor Steve Logsdon never call us back or gave us a follow up appointment. Money lovers not pet Lovers

Communication is so critical. We love our pets like our family. The owner of Northeast Veterinary Hospital personally reached out to our family, and he listened to issues we had with great approach. It is so hard to come by genuine people that speak honest and open, and this is so important when our pups and pets are sick. Thanks Again

TWICE, not once but twice this place has cleared their schedule and taken our cats for a next day life saving surgery so my boys would not die due to bladder blockage issues. The most recent visit we saw Dr Dipierro. He was so great. My cat had to stay inpatient for four nights after his surgery to treat diabetes and he called us every morning when he got in after examining him and every night before he headed home to update us on how he was doing. He never lost patience with my husband even when he was asking fifty questions and keeping him at work longer (or with me asking questions from the background). I can also talk about how reasonably priced they are. Woburn animal hospital wanted $8,000 to do an exploratory surgery to determine what this large fluid filled mass was, which for some reason they could not figure out even with a $600 ultrasound was his bladder blocked and full of pee. Northeast Veterinary only charged us around $1000 for the surgery. I 100% recommend this place and they have gained life long patients with us because of how prompt, compassionate and skilled they are. I do wish they had someone there 24 hours for emergencies but they are a hospital so they can do any of the surgeries your pet may need and are very good about making the time for you if your pet needs it.

First time here today . We waited about 30 minutes in the parking lot with a unhappy cat in the car due to covid -19. He was here for his yearly checkup . The receptionist didn't seem too friendly or welcoming , very soft soften and sharp . Vet seemed friendly over the phone . Very hard to judge when you can't see anyone face to face . Will be better to rate once customers /pet owners are allowed inside .

My first visit here after coming from a awful experience else where and I have to say this is EXACTLY how a vet visit should be. They were very thorough , and listened to my requests . I spoke on the phone with the vet several times through the visit and she explained everything to me in detail before proceeding with anything. I was impressed with level of care and their compassion for my pet that was shown by the vet herself as well as the vet tech. After months of vet visits and and 100's dollars elsewhere, with one vet visit at Northeast veterinary hospital , we were given answers and have already taken steps in the right direction to getting her healthy again. I was very very pleased with my experience here and would highly recommend this veterinary clinic .

So grateful for the caring and compassion given to my cat, King Solomon. Unable to reach my usual veterinarian in a moment of crisis, Dr. Loudon waited for us and treated us as if our needs were no less important than his own clients. Forever grateful! Bernadette

Our dog started having seizures at age 6 they put him on keppra- no work up done, 5 months later we took him in for balance issues and he was yelping in pain. They diagnosed him with a back sprain, did no neuro exam he got progressively worse and every time we called they prescribed more pain meds-rimadil, gabapentin over the phone. I asked when I should worry they said give it two more weeks. I said he was acting odd they said it was the gabapentin. Finally we brought him to the animal hospital in Woburn where they noted him to be blind, in severe pain due to myeloencephalitis, he would have died regardless but I'm angry that he spent weeks suffering, scared, and in pain because they don't know how to do a physical exam and they should have referred us to the emergency services sooner if they had no availability. I would avoid this practice

I just took my dog to Dr DePiero for an emergency visit. The precautions the office took to safeguard their clients and themselves during this Covid-19 panademic were amazing. Everything was incredibly organized and professional. The service my pup gets is always amazing but during this time they took every precaution and the visit could not have gone any smoother. I highly recommend Northeast Vet Hospital and all of the Drs on the staff.
