..Stay away from this place the wait alone was bad the doctors are morons and dont even know how to stitch someone the proper way ..they have no idea how to talk to patients .. and they expect to be treated with dignity and respect?? That's what their sign says But can't give the same in return ... came in here for xray and have had me wait over 5 hours .. sorry but u don't need to see a doctor they just want the Insurance money if ur PCP sends u to get xrays u should be in and out plain and simple.. brought me in a room left me in there over n hour and then the nurse was rude and definitely talks down to people .. stop thinking everyone is there to get pain meds it's really pathetic some of us go there because our pcp sends us there or some of us want to find out when somethings wrong

This ER was one of the worst hospital experiences I’ve had. The triage nurse especially and a nurse by the name of Dawn was beyond rude and extremely dismissive. Very cold and uncaring, they can barley answer your questions or talk to you like a human being. We are all people and deserve to be treated respectfully and taken seriously with medical issues especially if you are visiting the ER. I am very aware of how emergency rooms work and that different issues arise at any moment, but for these nurses to act this way to someone in pain looking for help is beyond me. I’ve lost faith in this country and humanity as a whole. These woman should not be in this profession as well as many other people in the health care field who do not have compassion for others.

The ER staff has no compassion or empathy for patients whatsoever. I came in because I was having a panic attack and was treated like a criminal. They took all of my possessions and locked me in a room with no access to the rest of the hospital. No tv, no way to page a nurse or anything except a security guard staring at me who didn't even speak English. I filed a formal complaint after being discharged and was told that those are the protocols they have to follow. Whoever is making these protocols should go back to med school and learn how to properly care for some one in psychiatric distress. I will never visit another Lahey facility again and will make sure I tell everyone else to do the same.

Have literally been trying to register as new patient for 45 minutes now. No-one seems to want to help, you just get transferred immediately to an endless loop of nothing. I give up.

The Dr I see is awesome, and only a few of the front desk are helpful and willing to help?

If I could leave 0stars I would. Most receptionist staff has zero training when scheduling appointments. I have been sent to 3 incorrectly scheduled appointments over the past month, causing me to have to take time off from work unnecessarily.
If insurance is an issue, don’t expect to get any type of treatment. They will not “no to bat” for their patients. Everything is very scripted. They treat patients more like barcodes for money rather than for the people they are.
Mental health treatment with this place is also a joke. Run far away from this place if you would actually like to receive any DECENT treatment.
Multiple doctor visits with awful bedside manner. I’m not a person who cries easily. But I have left two appointments this month crying due to the lack of care, consideration, and empathy these doctors show.
Good luck in your medical search, you’ve been warned about lahey.

Trying to get an appointment is always difficult; have to book months in advance. But Jill is the best gynecologist I have ever been to. If you have to get a procedure done it’s worth it!

Went here because my primary care Dr at Lahey told me to go to the ER after I described the symptoms I was feeling/experiencing. They found blood in my urine and did tests and it was revealed that I had kidney stones. They (the woman Dr whose name i forgot and the nurse still treated me like I was a junkie seeking pain medication. I was discharged with no medicine or anything for the kidney stones but an appointment with urology almost 6 weeks later. Now it's 6 months later I'm in pain again, haven't passed my kidney stones and called my primary care Dr at Lahey. He/they told me to go to the ER again!!! Unbelievable, no thank you!!
Hopefully I can get this issue fixed once and for all. Be ready to call multiple times to get any concerns addressed. The options in Peabody are limited. Peabody Lahey needs to get their stuff together. They're so worried about people seeking pain medication that it gets in the way of treatment. It's outrageous

This experience in the ER was anything but “compassionate, patient centered quality care”!
As a Registered Nurse with over 40 years experience I was horrified by the lack of compassion and professionalism of one nurse in particular. “Michael” RN ( his surname was covered with masking tape….) was more concerned with why I had the audacity to open the door and call for help ( my call bell was not made available) than why I was sobbing in pain. I was chastised, sharply told to CALM DOWN, and berated for my distress. Eventually diagnosed with a kidney stone, he had previously insisted that he had “never seen anyone react to a kidney stone like this.” As I sobbed and apologized for needing to call for assistance.
Other staff were kind and helpful however his behavior has insured that I will never return there. He was a disgrace to the profession, should be ashamed and his colleagues outraged. Perhaps an experience with his own kidney stone would change his approach in the future. I returned my detailed patient survey regarding this visit. No response.

One of the worst medical experience. Takes 3 years to get anything done here. Don't waste your time here go somewhere else unless you have all day to wait around.

Great experience minimal wait Time, nurses and staff were excellent and very efficient Especially the OR nurses on the fifth floor. Dr. Mark Lemos is an excellent surgeon will recommend to everyone.
