Unfortunately had to go to emergency room. The room was full ,shuffling from room to room after 3 hours finally seen by condescending doctor ,control freak ..some nurses very nice and enjoyable, some nurses very nasty..basically the hospital system is terrible ...understaffed and over worked...if possible go to urgent care or Anna Jacques in Newburyport, impossible to walk in and get care unless you are carried in or bleeding, difficulty breathing or chest pain. Of course you can't measure pain ,take the ambulance and always have someone there with you to protect you.

i was in complete pain and after 3 hours,I was getting ready to be seen and I had to go out to my car for pain meds ,they were going to make me register again ,till I really complained and the doctor asked me how I could walk in all that pain,I told him I was an ex paratrooper and paratroopers go further. I was a paratrooper and firefighter/emt . I guess I'm glad that I am not like some of the professional s that work a Lahey ... Botton line ,some do it for the pay check only. Btw the Doc told me he was also in the military.... Probably a cook

It's a woke leftist shithole. That rude, frail Asian doctor who produces low-testosterone with the glasses was a condescending queer. They were unable to find that the right side of my heart was enlarged.. It's sad that a place like Peabody Family Health Center (Northshore Community Health) that specializes in offering health care to less fortunate people and minorities who are low-income does a more efficient job than a so-called well established clinic like Lahey. Peabody Family Health Center was able to find my heart problem instantly after performing only one EKG. Lahey is mostly full of insufferable pricks like the people who work behind the desks. They all whine whenever someone who acts needy and/or anxious comes in and repeatedly asks for help. Granted, the impatience might come from some entitled patients, but some people are impatient for a GOOD REASON! The patient might actually be in pain and believe that they have a limited duration to fix something wrong! Whether or not they are wrong, the staff shouldn't belittle the people or make comments like "Oh, typical, someone from Middleton is being a little bitch," or something of that nature (They've actually said that about me before).. They all wear rainbow LGBTQ pins on their scrubs, lmfao. Place sucks!

During my recent visit to the Emergency Center at LMC Peabody, I had the pleasure of being attended to by an exceptional team of medical professionals. The staff, including the doctors and nurses, exhibited a level of care and expertise that truly impressed me. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly respectful, courteous, and attentive to my needs. They took the time to listen to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and ensure that I felt comfortable and informed throughout the entire process. Their knowledge and professionalism were evident in the way they handled my case with precision and care. I cannot speak highly enough of the outstanding care I received from the staff, doctor, and nurses at the Emergency Center - LMC Peabody during my time in the emergency room. Their dedication to providing quality healthcare and their compassionate approach made a stressful situation much more manageable. I am truly grateful for their exceptional service and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care.

Husband had eye surgery, his nursing staff was amazing. The Dr. Named Paul was such a kind caring soul. He even raised my husband's bed so they would be face to face when they talked. It's that extra care that sets him apart. We are so thankful to them all.

When I make an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon, it should be with the surgeon and not the nurse practitioner....was reassured several times by schedulers that my appointment was with the surgeon..... they lie because I did not see the surgeon only for a short period of time at the end of my visit... I have severe arthritis in my knee ,I am bone on bone, I have a torn meniscus, and I am falling frequently ,I walk with a cane, and my condition is worsening and has affected my daily life. I fall into the category for a knee replacement, but because I'm 48, they will not operate ... I have gone to other orthopedic surgeons, and they say the same thing . My other knee is also affected and is deteriorating, so my question is ...by the time I'm age required for a knee replacement, I will be in a wheelchair ..... so when you quality for a knee replacement, you must be age required it not to bad... .so much for compassion.

Had another satisfying lunch at Lahey-Peabody on Thursday. Was hoping for a gyros sandwich, but it wasn't on the menu that day. Got a hamburger instead and was happy with its generous size. As good a burger as I could get from 5 Guys, although I really like the fries at 5 Guys.

I went to the ER at Lahey Peabody Saturday night, April 22, 2023. From the moment I registered I was treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. The Nurses were incredible; friendly, kind and efficient. Both Doctors I encountered were knowledgeable, attentive and took the time answering all my questions. I ended up being admitted to their inpatient unit (10 beds) was staffed by 2 nurses and one Nurse Aide. The unit was clean and uncluttered. My Nurse and Aide were attentive and caring providing me with excellent care. They worked so hard all night running back and forth, answering alarms and call lights. It was non stop. I was exhausted just watching them! This care and attention continued into the day shift with equally efficient, attentive and caring nurses! My major point here is to say I received exceptional care at Lahey Clinic Peabody. I wouldn't go anywhere else for emergency service.

They are very professional and fill prescriptions quickly. Never had an issue picking up a medication even when doing so for a family member who does not walk well.

My hematologist called me today and yelled and screamed about how sick he was of dealing with my insurance company. This was his reaction to my asking him to send in a CT scan report showing I have a lesion on my kidney. The CT report says the radiologist recommends an MRI. The hematologist failed to send the report, so the insurance company sent me a letter denying me the MRI for the "pain in my belly" -- and I never reported "pain in my belly". The head of the Hematology Department was contacted about this and did not even address the issue, instead telling me to follow up with my PCP about anemia. He completely ignored the report stating that this lesion needs to be investigated because it might be cancer. Stay away from Lahey if you want to be treated with decency and respect. Now, on top of the worries about cancer, I have a grown man, who is supposed to be a professional, screaming at me like a little child having a tantrum because he is asked to complete a task. Worthless place.

Awful ER! People in the waiting room with excruciating pain (including myself) waiting for 3 hours unacceptable. You are better off at urgent care than this horrid ER. Stay away from lahey ER Peabody.

Ever since Beth Israel came into the picture Lahey has been horrible. Beth Israel has ruined a good place. Been battling cancer for over 9 years and they just don't care anymotpre if I live or die. Time to move on. I guess there is no chemo this week. We will see how long I live now.

After years of meeting with Doctors, nurses, specialist and so on, emotionally explaining my story of being a carpenter by trade and semi pro football player to now being betrayed by my body. Constantly falling & losing feeling in my hand and feet. I was diagnosed with CDIP which left me with more questions than answers. Thank you, Shannon Quinn (behavioral health Clinician) for making me feel heard. I finally feel confident Progress will be made. I appreciate you, and look forward to working with you and your team of experts. -Jarrid

Well, My Dr. is Doctor Yeh in General Internal Medicine. WHAT A DISASTER. He is a nice man but the staff appears to be useless. I have been trying to get my meds refilled for NINE days now. Nurses say it is sitting on his desk but I cannot go without them so I am taking meds from other people. Lahey is negligent and they do NOT care about anyone..... obviously. I have also gone more than a week without my meds for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, etc..... If you want horrific, sloppy, and poor service, Lahey is your place. I was having bad reactions from lack of meds and no matter who you call there, you cannot get through. This was once a nice hospital but now it really sucks. It is the place you would go to if you want to die. The folks in patient relations are nice, but nothing happens. If you try and call Dr. Longworth's office.... forget it. He is the only head administrator that will not take calls. A very poor choice. I have been on the phone for 4 1/2 hours trying to get through to people and nobody answers their phones. Well, you would be better off buying your meds on the street than waiting for one of these clowns to call you back or to start acting like professionals. Professional..... they are NOT. Thank you to Julie Carey for always making sure I get my meds. She is their patient advocate. Without her, I would of probably been in the hospital with bad reactions from lack of medicine. If she ever retires or quits, Lahey in Peabody will sink below medical standards. By the way, many other people I know go through hell for their meds too with this crew.
