"I'm already impressed by the valuable information and resources on the Healthy Pet website. It's a fantastic resource for future pet owners like me!".

Customer service at this place sucks. We tried using the doggy wash here and our dog didn't like the dryer so she was freaking out. My husband said to our dog "calm down girl you're knocking everything out". Well the male employee working the doggy playground misheard my husband thinking he said he was going to knock the dog out (like my husband was going to hit the dog which would never happen). Instead of walking over to see if everything was okay, the employee starts screaming at my husband and making all kinds of false accusations. I will never step foot in this place again if that's how an employee is going to treat us. It was already stressful enough that are dog was getting upset then we have some old dude yelling at us...

DONT USE THE DIY PET WASH HERE!! Old dude with a balding haircut working the doggy playground was being super rude to us just because our dog wasn’t happy with the blow dryer. Adding his two cents into something that wasn’t his business. Avoid this place at all cost. If the employees want to be like that, you shouldn’t give this place your business!!

Great pet food selection.. nice dog treats and toys. Helpful staff. This new location seems to have a play area too. In same plaza a Market Basket.

Staff isn’t really friendly for a pet place. Felt uncomfortable with associates staring at me while shopping.

Very dissapointed. They DO NOT cover the Vet Exam portion of an EMERGENCY visit - I had 3 emergency visits for an issue - the VET EXAM charge was 75% of the visit - so they only would cover 25%.The policy clearly stated that they do not cover ROUTINE or PREVENTATIVE office visits - but rereading the policy it is not clear that the Vet Exam portion of an EMERGENCY visit is not covered.I will look elsewhere to see if this is industry practice.Very Misleading.

Great store. Great products, all the good stuff. We followed them from Peabody.

My cat's health insurance is literally more expensive than my own. The rate increases each year are insane.

Absolutely abysmal customer service, would not recommend to anyone, ever due to that. Insurance coverage similar to other providers

We've had this insurance for 8 years and never had To file a claim. Last month both dogs became ill. I am STILL waiting for reimbursement. I've called at least 4 times...everyone is "so sorry" and nothing is taken care of...Now they're increasing insurance to $300.00 a month! Yes, they're great as long as they're collecting your money....but not when they owe you. When someone has been a customer for 8 years...unbelievable!

I almost never write negative Yelp reviews but my experience with this company has been abysmal and I feel obligated to warn others. They have a policy that you have to get an exam for your pet within the year prior to signing up, or within 15 days after. You have to be clairvoyant to know about this policy, because it isn't communicated anywhere. You would think if you have to get the exam within 15 days they would send some kind of notification when you sign up, but no; you just have to receive that information telepathically. I coincidentally had a vet visit scheduled for my cat within that time frame which was lucky. When I first submitted a claim with this company, it was because I had brought my cat in for a sudden bout of frequent, hacking coughing. She had previously coughed a couple of times in the few months I had had her--literally, like two times in 5 months, and suddenly began coughing often. Most pets cough at one point or another. Apparently those 1-2 coughs are considered a pre-existing condition, thus making my entire claim uncoverable. So if your pet has ever coughed, vomited, or experienced any type of symptom of any condition, don't bother with this insurance, because they won't help you with any sickness if the pet has had that symptom ever before. In addition, the claims submission process is incredibly disorganized and they don't seem to read any of the emails that come in. I submitted my claim and was sent an email requesting her full medical records, which I provided almost immediately. When I didn't hear back, I emailed the records again and asked for confirmation of receipt. Heard nothing back. Got the same request for her records 3 more times before finally calling. I was told that they could see that I had submitted the forms but that it was still marked as pending in their system. The person manually fixed it for me. Then I got a request for her claim visit records, which I already submitted with her full records, so apparently they didn't look at the records that I submitted numerous times. I submitted the records several more times in several emails, to no avail. I continued getting the same request again. At this point it had been two weeks since I originally submitted the claim. I emailed back asking what was going on and why they needed me to submit the same forms for what was now the 5th or 6th time. No response to this email. Finally I called for a second time, and was told they could see my forms but that the system still showed them as pending. I asked why I seemingly had to call them each time I submitted something to ensure it was received and was not given a clear answer. I really don't understand what's going on with their system but it seems they are filtering emails directly into the trash and not looking at any emails or forms. So in summary this company wasted weeks of my time with unnecessary paperwork, didn't read any of my emails, and then didn't cover my claim because my cat had the "pre-existing condition" of having coughed previously in her life. I would not recommend this insurance to anyone and will be cancelling it immediately.

Do not get this insurance. I am stuck with this insurance since my pup is now 10 and a change would b costly. Healthy Paws cover 1/4 of what other insurance covers. NO preventive medicine which includes yearly health visits and vaccines. After 10years, that's a lot saved by THEM!!

I have been with Healthy Paws for six years for two dogs. Not only have the prices increased exorbitantly but the service and coverage has decreased exorbitantly. Their response time in customer service is nonexistent anymore. They used to be excellent. What happened?? I actually referred several family members and friends to Healthy Paws and I absolutely regret that now. One of my dogs has been having an issue with one of his legs and they barely covered a thing when I'm supposed to be covered 90% after the $100 deductible which was definitely met. I'm very disappointed. I don't know how they still have five star reviews on Google because if you go to their website you will see how bad the reviews have been lately. Not only that, their app does not work anymore.

Predatory practices. Don't walk, run from this service to another provider. Rates are great early on but have consistently increased 20% every year - though they claim it's never based on claims. I call BS. See attached for my policy updates on my 4 & 6 Y/O dogs. The company takes advantage of the preexisting condition clause across insurance providers. The longer you stay with the service and the more documented ailments there are, makes it impossible to go to a competitor.

Great place to stop and get pet treats. They now offer self washing your pet but I have not tried this service yet
