Check any medication you get here. Found a mystery pill in my medication. This prompted me to count a new bottle, and found they'd shorted me.
Also took hours to get someone on the line about it, and there was no apology.

The pharmacy is awful and the staff is rude. I always have such a big issue getting my prescription sent there every time. The common response is that they never received the prescriptions from the doctor. These are prescriptions for my 4 year old asthma so they are very important. I’ve never had an issue with any other pharmacy. I avoid this place at all times. CVS on Lynnfield st in Peabody is so much better.

Pharmacy is awful. Called in prescription told ready by 2 pm. Arrived 230 told 15-20 minutes. Happens every time. They want you to walk around and shop

Over a period of 17 years this pharmacy has continually disappointed, caused undue stress, and failed to meet basic pharmacy functions in the experience of my family. The staff is friendly and excellent face to face. On the phone you willl be given excuses and lied to about the problems they fail to resolve when filling prescriptions. The problem rests on the pharmacist in all cases I have been draggrd through. I have had to resort to calling the CVS HQ in Rhode Island to resolve dysfunction that left my family's health in jeopardy. Cannot reasonably recommend. My draft of this sat for 2 weeks. I am still sending it vaguely hoping to spare the pain we felt and could see in others in the line up who visited.

Acting pharmacy manager Josh, is just a complete ass. One of the most entitled, childish man/boys I have ever encountered in any setting, whether it's retail or medical. CVS must be desperate for pharmacists if they've dropped their standards this low. Do your job. It's not difficult to look something up. A phone call that should have taken me less than 30 seconds, took 7 minutes between the holds and his chastising me. Another by product of "everyone gets a trophy ".

The one next to home closed (which also wasn’t the greatest either) but this location constantly has a massive line. Sure maybe that’s due to the other one closing.. however going days without a medication that I am not supposed to be off of is unacceptable. There was a refill already there by my dr. I had to reach out to my dr to fill it. Which I did and cvs never filled it. Reached out to cvs and they had nothing. I am now on DAY 4 .. COMPLETELY OFF THIS MEDICATION. Which again, I’m not supposed to be off of, it takes months to regulate in my body. Called today, was told they will call me when it’s ready. 6 hours go by, no call so I call them, was told to give them 30 mins. Andddddd I still have no medication. Now I’m off to Walgreens.Also this has happened with not only my prescriptions but my sons as well. I’ve had to wait days for them to fill something and then I’m told it’s ready and it took over an hour for them to mix the amoxicillin.. right.

This pharmacy is the worst. I constantly have trouble getting prescriptions filled here and now they just told me they that they "ran out of the COVID vaccine". I am particularly frustrated by this as I've had this appointment booked for WEEKS! I planned for this and I planned to potentially be sick the next day at work as I get a reaction from it. Not to mention, I found out when I walked in to check-in that they had run out. They said I should have gotten a cancellation...well the cancellation came through an hour AFTER my scheduled time. On top of that they don't offer to reschedule...they just say go back online and figure it out.

I dread having to walk into CVS to pickup... anything because CVS has perfected the art of making shopping (or picking up medications)the worst possible customer experience. Unfortunately, my healthcare uses CVS for prescriptions.. otherwise I'd go elsewhere.

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. They shorted me on a medication, refused to fill it early or prove that they had given me the correct amount. This medication is a controlled substance purely because it’s expensive and a couple days without it could literally kill me. Luckily my doctor was able to find another pharmacy that would fill it for me before I run out. These people are lucky I can’t afford to hire a lawyer. I had to reschedule a flight and hotel reservation for hundreds of dollars because of their mistake. I can prove without a shadow of a doubt that I did not receive the amount of medication they claim on the date they claim. And there should be full record of it in their system. This is inexcusable.

As the other person has posted, whoever answers the phone is the most rude and unfriendly person i’ve ever come by. She barely responds, she has an attitude and also has just hung up on me when I still have had a few more questions. It’s the same girl every time. Even worse to deal with in person
