I could understand the second person I spoke to who was great. Unfortunately I had an issue and had left a voicemail, but by the time I could get in contact with a person the following week I had already gotten hit with a $1,000 loss.Was told if I had called the week prior I’d have been able to resolve the issue, so if they picked up the phone and checked their voicemails I’d have been able to resolve the issue in time.Want to clarify, the second person I spoke to was very helpful. Review points towards lack of 24/7 support and unclear key commands when you call and have to deal with a robot. Who knows if they’re even checking the right voicemail or having people leave messages at the right place. Because of their slower response time, I’m out a grand.

The mortgage department is the worst I have had to deal with. As an agent, I have been a part of hundreds of closings. The incompetence was amazing and unprofessional at best. Stay away from this lender

My car loan with CCU can't be over fast enough. Their website is difficult to navigate, you can't even pay your loan through their account set up. You need to set up a separate account for loan payments. I've had multiple issues with early payments being put towards the principal amount and then being charged double and with a late fee. Their customer service rep's are rude and unapologetic. Don't use them if you like convenience and customer service!

It's a small community credit union. Good and bad to it. The good? Friendly people. The bad. It's really tough to get anything done if anything unusual happens. And to quote a famous Radio personality, try to get anything done on their no service number. I bought a car and the dealer financed it thru Community. Rates were compatible and I have a savings account with them. Figured I would pay it off after a couple of months. Everything went fine until I tried to pay it off. I stopped in and they told me that the loan is in my wife's name. They did give me the payoff though. Seemed high so I asked them to verify payments received. Nope. It's her account. She needed to call in and give me permission to talk to them. OK. She did that about a month ago. Yesterday we tried to walk in and take care of everything. Got there at 2:05. Door was locked. Seemed they decided to close 4 hours early for black Friday. Nothing posted on line or on the door. Guess this is a new bank holiday. No problem. I called in today. After long hold times, I go thru the whole verification process to be told that they can't find the note from my wife. They can't call my wife. She calls in and since she is at work can't deal with the long hold times. They have a call back option. She leaves her number, they call back, and what ever happened at that point resulted in a really irritated text from my wife that said they S___. And now they are closed until Monday. If you are retired and can walk in, go for it. They are nice people and you are not just a number. DO NOT EXPECT service over the phone or the internet.

Absolutely the worst bank I have ever used in 42 years. Sadly - I got stuck with them for a car loan and didn't do my research before signing. To begin with - their website looks like something from 1995. And you have to sign in 3 different times to make your monthly payment. When the auto-pay didn't work - some guy from an answering service answered and had never even seen the website - let alone provide help. Then I get a letter saying "we've been trying to reach you" to provide proof of auto insurance. Guess what? I never received a single call, email or letter until now. This place is a F-

They are AMAZING! I use the Somerville branch and set up a small business account when Bank of America was being awful and I've never looked back. Everyone is friendly, they've literally driven to my office several times for paperwork, shower us with swag, and are fast with communication. I never thought I could love my bank!
