I had a very unpleasant experience at Century Auto. The service I received was unsatisfactory, and I would strongly advise others to avoid this business. There were significant issues with the service provided, and the overall experience was disappointing.
The owner's response to negative feedback reflects their professionalism.

I recently came here with a friend who needed work done, He ended up refusing the work because of how rude the employee was. my friend left a review on google while waiting for his truck to be towed to another shop. Right when the tow truck came the employee came out SCREAMING about the review. Calling me and my friend names and getting in his face. Extremely unprofessional. Definitely needs to seek anger management before working in customer services.

Had my vehicle towed here. Tow company asked me to assure that they would have the tires I needed. I gave them a call and was told “you will find out when i get there ” Tho the Tow truck driver wanted confirmation. I continued to bring my truck here after that unpleasant phone call. Only because it was the closets and quickest option. I went in the office and told them i needed new tires, the employee that i was dealing with at the front desk was quite rude. i provided him with my phone number and he misunderstood me, and then told him i just told him a whole separate phone number,,, tho it was exactly the same number u have him previously. I gave them the information needed and was quoted nearly $1200 for 4 tires and was they refused to sell me just 1 Tire. so I asked if could just get 2 tires and they said $580. I denied the work and had my friend go in and ask the same question and they quoted him $360. Extremely unprofessional and rude customer service and lack of valid quotes.

I’ve been going to Century Tire for over 10 years. I love this place, would never go any place else. Fantastic service !!! The old guy behind the counter always makes me laugh.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Century Tire & Auto for years. Joe has always been honest and transparent. The customer service is excellent. We moved 20 miles north some years ago and I still drive the extra miles to bring my family's vehicles to Joe.

Can't say enough good things about Century Tire in Peabody. The customer service provided by Joe has always been upfront and honest and clearly explained. I feel they never try to take your money for the business but tell you what you need and the options to get something fixed. I recently went to get my oil changed and while doing so they noticed a missing part on my vehicle. They promptly called and let me know the issue and how much it would take to resolve it. Compared to other shops the price was on par with other shops and they did an excellent job, I noticed my car driving smoother immediately.
I would highly recommend Century Tire in Peabody for all your mechanical needs to your vehicle. The staff and crew are always pleasant and friendly and as I mentioned never felt as if was being swindled by them. I've been a long time customer for years and will continue to bring my vehicles their when needed.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would‼️‼️
I have never felt so disgusted, disrespected, and embarrassed in my life. I had called them for a quote on an alignment because I had just replaced the rack and pinion on my vehicle. The gentleman I spoke to over. The phone was very rude once he gave me the price of $119. I stated great. I’ll be in in a few minutes. He proceeded to hang up the phone. unfortunately I wasn’t able to get this gentleman name, but he was in older Caucasian male with white hair. When he hung up the phone on me, I didn’t make anything of it, and I went to their location to get an alignment. As soon as I walked in the same gentleman I had spoken on the phone with looked at me with other discussed. I could see it in his eyes. He didn’t even say hi or any sign of any kind of customer service. He took down my name and information and asked why do I need an alignment. Proceeded to tell him I just replaced the rack and pinion. And he stated to me that whoever put in the rack and pinion did a bad job because the wheel should be almost aligned immediately didn’t make any sense to me because when you replace a rack and opinion, you need an alignment right away. He told me that if they take a look at the car in the alignment isn’t basically already done because that’s what I got from him is that my car should be aligned already basically that they will do an alignment and they would still charge me $75 for looking at it. I am not the one to play the race card. I was born and raised in the United States. I am a small business owner a homeowner. I have children a wife. I’m no criminal nor did I approach this gentleman with any disrespect. But it was clearest day that because I look Mexican and most likely sounded Mexican over the phone to these people that they immediately did not want my business. As soon as you walk into this place to your left, there is a huge wall with 1 million pictures and it just so happens. It’s all Caucasians. Again, I am not want to play this card. I’m a regular middle-class American that treats people with respect and just because I come from Hispanic descent these people humiliated me and made me feel so small smaller than I have ever felt in my whole entire life. I’m the guy that’s usually telling other people of color That racism it’s all in their mind but not until I walked in century tire Walnut Street in Peabody . I would not recommend for anyone to give their business to these people. It is so sad and unfortunate that this kind of prejudice and disrespect still walk amongst us!!
