The Ravenstone shop is gorgeous, cozy and the kind owner went above and beyond explaining the store to us. You can tell the love and passion that goes in to every detail.. Such a bright positive vibe.. Highly recommend!”

260 Essex St, Salem“Great local Book Store. Cashier was friendly, an it had a nice local vibe. Pizza Girl ruined the ability to eat Pizza and shop for books at the same time though. Don't be like Pizza Girl!”

1115 Market St, Lynnfield“It's a compact format Barnes that's pretty much no-nonsense - feels quite like the Amazon bookstore it replaced, but a little more interested in books. Funny how the OG bookstore can feel kinda indie in the wake of such things ? Pair it up with a local used bookstore and you can stay Bezos-free! (Try The Book Oasis in Stoneham!)They can order you any book you might need for no extra cost and get it within a day or two. The staff are always helpful when I'm asking for obscure books!”
“This shop is a hidden gem. A cozy little book shop tucked away in Beverly Farms, it has a great selection of books for all interests (and a great kids book room too) and the owner, Hannah, and her staff are all super knowledgeable and have great recommendations. Love this place!”

“Great and informed staff.
Especialky thankful because in-person was a better choice than online given my needs.
I am part of a program called Book Buddies that provides books for 3rd graders who might not otherwise have a library of personal books at home. The goal is to foster a love of reading by providing books our students ask for.
I was matched to a young woman. Who never tells me what books she wants, but with the help of the knowledgeable staff, we were able to identify a couple of books that would be both at her reading and interest level and one a bit more challenging to encourage her to read over the pending break.”
