Not sure why reviews were turned off when this happened but KL Hooton totally ruined an expensive Daniel socom heavy barrel, and surefire muzzle device.This is their “pin and weld”….you can see they must have closed their eyes to weld it, and also gouged the barrel to remove a surface weld holding the old muzzle device onto the barrel.This cost me a lot of money and time to fix. And tons of frustration.Their only redeeming quality was that they did not charge me.Avoid like the plague if you care about what your items come back looking like.

These guys are awesome, they’re extremely knowledgeable & they actually listen to what your questions/concerns are. They helped me out with a handguard I had broke trying to do it myself & they did it in 30 minutes right then and there. I will 100% be going back for more work, reasonably priced and all around really genuine guys. I’d give more stars but Google only allows 5.

I've been here multiple times with different guns and I've come away happy each time. Definitely my go to gunsmith for any issues and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a gunsmith.

Both Keiths were both top tier men. I came in for a pin and weld (came out perfectly) and they went above and beyond. They also fixed my magazine issue and magazine release button for no charge. They just got themselves a customer for life. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could. Also if you’re looking for an appointment call him. The address that it shows is wrong. 5/5

Keith is the place to go. He fixed my M1/M14 that did not want to cycle and 2 other guns at a very reasonable fee. Nice, friendly and very knowledgeable guy and very professional.

I've been to Keith a few times now for repairs and alterations in my firearms. I'll have to admit being fairly familiar with firearms myself and once employed by Smith and Wesson that Mr hooten is a master Craftsman when it comes to firearms repair and modifications and my humble opinion is you will find no better no matter where you search. Mr hooten is professional and courteous, he listens to what you have to say about what the issues are with the firearm and he doesn't talk down to you if you don't happen to know anything particular about the firearm that he asked you question about.
