I was given a proposal but wasn’t quite looking to spend $11,000. The owner John made me feel like my project wasn’t worth his time after I asked if he could give me other options for the space that were more in my budget of $5,000. Also, they charge a non refundable $85 fee just to give you a proposal.

We've started going to five Star gardens last year almost exclusively. The owner, Loreen (sp?) is absolutely wonderful. she's so helpful and understanding (we needed to exchange a couple of expensive trees). She and her staff are always ready to answer any questions that we have. If they don't know the answer to a question they will find someone who does and come back to you with the answer. We have bought many many plants/trees from Five Star, and they have all been healthy... Nothing looks wilty or "ragged" there. Also they have compost, topsoil and mulch that you can order. If you don't have a truck, they will deliver it. We order a mix of topsoil and compost. Lenny, the guy who delivers the compost / mulch is absolutely wonderful we can't say enough good things about him either. Five star is a little oasis for us to walk through, we absolutely love it.

I had a great experience designing my garden bed with Abby. She helped me pick plants that will grow well together and bloom from spring to fall. I can't wait for my garden to grow and bloom every year!

I enjoy coming here! I am not a green thumb so I went here showed my pictures and explained what I needed for an area and asked what they thought would work. The workers are so genuine and honest. They don’t make you feel pressured. I have now bought several plants and they will explain how to take care of them, etc.They have a great selection! Prices are reasonable just like anywhere else. I make the 45 min trip out here for my planting needs.

Our rock walls were built by Five Star Gardens over 15 years ago! They just did a patio and walkway this past month. I can’t express how much we love what they do! Fast, efficient, professional, and most importantly, such a beautiful end result. Thank you Five Star Gardens!
