In my opinion the customer service is unparalleled. Melissa Lepage spent alot of time helping, explaining and going over my new checking and savings accounts. She took the time to listen to what my needs were. I truly appreciate all her help.

Broken stuff stays broken and antiquated policies stay antiquated (5+ years later.) This bank seems to struggle with the concept of "legal tender." They don't appreciate feedback. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

How SAD to only be open until 4 pm when most people don't get out of work in time, on top of waiting in a line due to Covid. What a terrible time to screw over customers!

A couple of weeks ago, my wallet was stolen, and I needed to replace my cell phone (which was in the wallet), license, credit cards, the rest. I have ATM cards from two banks that have locations in Palmer, and I went first to the big/national bank where I keep most of my money. It was first thing in the morning, but they couldn't help me. I needed to make an appointment to come back after lunch. They weren't very friendly about it, either. So, I decided to take out some cash (I had my passport for ID) and go see the Country Bank branch. As I suspected, Country Bank was able to help me immediately. Deanna K. was the teller who saw me first, and she was able to issue me a new ATM card. Unfortunately, there is usually a 2-day delay before the card could be used. Carole Reuter, the Branch Operations Manager, was able to override this for me once she understood that I was in a bit of a jam, since I needed an ATM or credit card to go online and get a temporary license to drive. Both Deanna and Carole were extremely nice and accommodating and understanding. This is truly customer service at its best, and it highlighted for me the difference between a big-name big-bank and a local bank that genuinely cares about its customers. This summer, I expect to take out a loan for some home improvements. Guess where I plan to go? Thanks, Country Bank. I'm sticking with YOU!
