This little gallery is very special in terms of it's fascinating history and the enthusiasm of the artist/volunteers. Truly local art with both established and emerging artists. A quaint and very Cape Cod experience. It's worth the trip!

Galley West Art Gallery (GWAG) is a volunteer run art gallery dedicated to showcasing artists in the 8 Lower Cape Cod towns of Harwich, Brewster, Chatham, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro & Provincetown. The gallery is located in the restored historic Galley West in Orleans, Massachusetts. The restoration was made possible by grants through the Orleans Community Preservation Fund. Galley West Art Gallery provides a unique venue for local artists to show and sell their art in four juried shows per year. With each show, the gallery completely changes with all new art.
