Wow - what a sad and incredible drop from first to worst. I can't get answers to calls to ask them to pick up the trash bin and am now being invoiced for services for which I never contracted. I've been on hold for 30 minutes just this morning - music but no one answering...

Wish there was a ZERO star rating!! We have been customers of Nauset Disposal for 9 years. Always had the best service! Since they were sold and "got a new software system" things started to go down hill. But we stuck it out with them. Let me just say The drivers have always been wonderful!! We had automatic payments set up and never had a problem. So a few months back we didn't get charged. This occurred again the next month. I left several messages with them. Never received a call back. Then I received an email for the two month for DOUBLE bills. They were charging us for two properties when we only have one! Again I kept calling and calling. Finally after over an hour on hold I was told it would be taken care of. Update our payment info and thought it was all set. Next month normal billing. Few month later another email for the two month of double invoicing! Another hour on hold... and so on. Finally after MONTHS of this game I called and after over an hour on hold I cancelled my account. The next week I received an email that said my account was suspended due to past due payments!!! But still they are changing my credit card for a CLOSED account! Two month I have been charge for a account I don't have!! Absolutely bullshit at this point!! NO ONE will call me back! Horrible horrible service!!!

I have been having the same issues noted in so many of the reviews. I have been trying now for three weeks to get someone to answer the phone, return my call after leaving messages or even follow through on an online service ticket that I placed in the hopes they would actually come and pick up my trash and recycling. Now there is only a virtual assistant on the website - no humans work in the office anymore I guess - and says I am scheduled for trash and recycle pick up tomorrow. I am not holding my breath. What a shame as the prior ownership and customer service was awesome. I wasn't aware until now it had been sold, but understand why service is now non-existent. Corporate greed prevails - how sad for Cape residents. :(

More of the same of the past reviews. Feel badly to say this but this company has had a change of ownership and the result seemingly has turned the company from a "peach to a lemon" in my opinion. Mystery fees, no response to customer service requests, noone to answer the phone etc. Thought it was just me but when I read the other reviews here... misery loves company!

buy outs , mergers big huge business has failed our local old class and professional way cape cod operated by hands on small business. my customer and I as a caretaker have had the most absolute horrific time with this company. I would not let them pick the garbage up for free, even if the offered to pay my customer for the the privilege of picking up there garbage , I would not letthem on the property, period. beware of the giants thinking they can buy their way. onto cape cod

Used this service from 2019-2022 and thought they always over delivered in business. Incredible marks for their sense of urgency, attention to detail and customer mindset. Believe a ownership change took place then tried to schedule 2023 service and a disaster. Called and emailed numerous times. Never got a live voice of a return email or call. Not interested in residential business.

Unbelievable that Nauset disposal is falling apart!No answer on phone and no email response. I got an incorrect credit card charge that was not approved after failing to pick up my recyclables.I am not looking forward to finding out what's going on when I do turnover this weekend.Does anyone have recent news as to what is happening??Thanks

We have been loyal customers of Nauset Disposal since 2011. It was a great business until it was sold to new owners. Since then, pickup times have been erratic, and this week is the fourth time in a few months they have not picked up our recycling. (Several customers on our street reported the same.) The barrel is already full and it's FOURTH OF JULY weekend. No response by ohone or chat. On hold for an hour and gave up. I am actively searching for a new trash pickup vendor...this was the final straw.

Great company when it was privately owned but now a horrendous mess. Cancelled out service on 01JUN23 and still receiving a bill. Called them 5 separate times only to be left on hold and the call dropped. Messaged them 7 times and no response. They also have not picked up their barrels. Do yourself a favor and go with Pina Disposal. Always respond and $28 per month cheaper for the same service

"Dumpster Fire" would be putting it kindly. They haven't picked up trash or recycling in weeks. When we finally connected with their office we were told " we are not accepting new clients" despite us having been loyal clients for the past 15 years.... Huh?

Sadly what I hoped to be a long business relationship with Nauset ended today on a sour note. This past week they missed the pick up. We gave them a day and Saturday morning they still hadn't arrived. I made numerous calls to no avail. I even called Graham, the sales rep, and left a VM but no reply. I even reached out on social media and nothing. Monday morning someone called and said they had been out to pick up the trash and apologized. We contacted another vendor and they were able to provide us with reliable service at better pricing. I called Nauset and advised them to please remove their dumpsters on Friday March 31st. They agreed. This morning, the 29th, I'm in a meeting and got notification Nauset pulled the dumpsters this morning. I called up and asked them to please get them back to the property. 4 hours later I was told they weren't back. When I called again, I was transferred to numerous people, finally speaking with someone named Rich. I explained what happened and he said Graham, the sales rep, said to remove them early and he refused to return them, despite us being billed and pre-paid through March 31. They have gone downhill in a big way over the last few months. Fortunately for us the new vendor was able to get the replacements to us today, and we're thankful for that. If you're looking for better customer service and to save some $$, drop me a line and I'll give you the name of our new vendor. You'll be happy you did.

Every once in awhile, you come across a big-ish business that has it all together - reliable, courteous... everything. I've been using Nauset Disposal for about 10 years now and I just called them to modify my pick-ups... right in the middle of this COVID mess. Their people couldn't be more calm or more efficient. They are so good I just had to take the time to sing their praises.

Nauset patron by acquisition of previous provider. So unhappy..poor customer service. Unreliable pick up. I was challenged when I called to report missed pick up and even after I had to provide pictures and phone logs to prove their error, they are still making me wait a week for pick up. Insulting and frustrating. I am an essential mental health professional with no time to look for another company. I will as soon as I am able which is what they want since I am an outlier that they inherited in their merger. Shame on them!

the office staff is AWESOME ..always upbeat an fun ..the service outstanding...I've had countless dumpsters ..and curbside service ..they always come through... Personally I much rather give my money in support of a local business than to buy a town dump sticker... The town gets plenty of my money... Nauset Disposal is first rate..

We have had very good service for our weekly trash pick-up from Nauset Disposal. This is a local Cape company that actually answers their phone. They have been good about scheduling occasional pick-ups during the off season and reliable during the season. They are MUCH better than the big national company we had before. Any service issues have been promptly addressed. This is important to us because we rent our property and need to know that service is reliable.
