Daniel Shays Package Store is a great little country store and outstanding “hole in the wall” diner. It is also a package store with liquor and some fantastic wine. A mother-daughter team runs it, described as a fantastic two-woman show. The people are so nice and a funny bunch. Everything is made to order with care, using the best ingredients. Food options include fantastic breakfast sandwiches, a great cheeseburger grinder, and exceptional meatball sandwiches. Everything tried is delicious, fantastic, and excellent. Since it is made to order, calling in advance is suggested to avoid a wait. It is a place customers love and definitely plan on returning to.

This store was one of my clients when I was with Pepsicola. Great people, easy to work with. It may now have new ownership, but I only have good things to say.

Awesome sausage egg and cheese sandwich from them this morning. Will definitely be returning! Didn’t encounter any cranky women that others have spoke of, so I must have gotten lucky! Definitely will be back!
